"So what is it that you'll do?" Remus asked.

"That's the question, isn't it...," Janus mumbled, "Why the hell am I important?"

Thomas held his hands over Roman's ears.

"Jan-Jan, you'll be ok," Remus reassured.

"I'm not the one I'm worried about," Janus looked to the others, Roman coloring in a transparent coloring book, Virgil messing with a transparent fidget cube, Thomas humming and trying to help Roman color in the lines.

"They will too. Huh. You know things have gone to heck when I'm consoling you."

"Not helping, Re."

"Right... Roman, what do you say we go outside and play, leave these guys to talk?"

"Ok!" Roman grinned. They ran outside.

"We should go through the book. Possession, seeing the future, ghosts, the living, the whole shebang," Thomas suggested.

"Alright. Let's do it," Janus nodded, "And Virgil...,"

Virgil glared at him, clearly still upset that his friend was a killer, "Yeah?"

"Maybe do a perimeter, warn us if Logan shows up," Thomas suggested. Janus nodded.

"Ugh, fine."
