I look outside of the diner to see Harry parked up immediately my face lights up and I feel butterflies rise in my stomach knowing he's only a few meters away from me.

I watch him intently as he makes his way out of his car, wearing only a white t-shirt and black skinny jeans, his hair placed over his shoulders and the top pushed over to one side, his sunglasses riding nicely on his nose.

He puts his finger through a keyring on his keys, so they are dangling off his hand and makes his way over to the front door, even with his sunglasses on as soon as his eyes lock onto mine he smiles with his dimples deeply engraved into his cheeks.

He slips his sunglasses onto his head before opening the door and his eyes meet mine once again, I continue wiping down the counter while watching him make his way over to me.

His smile growing wider as he gets closer to me "hey baby" he says in a sweet tone, the nickname making my heart flutter, he could call me a bitch and I would still get butterflies over him.

I smile up at him as he leans over the counter looking down at me "hey you" I say before tip toeing and attaching my lips with his, engraving them together, they always seem to fit so well together, kind of like they were made for each other.

I lean back down watching his eyes flutter back open and a grin plastered on his face "did you have a good shift" he asks leaning himself down on the counter which I just whiped, I nod reassuring him that I did, I will always have a love hate relationship with this job, but since I'm now working for James this job is going to be a different kind of freedom for me.

"It was actually really good, not too busy either which makes it ten times better since I can just go in the back to talk to Gen for the shift" I smile up at him as I continue cleaning down the front, I walk around to the side where Harry is to start collecting menus and sauces off the tables ready for tomorrow and cleaning them down.

He walks over to me while I'm cleaning down one of the tables and leans down to whisper in my ear "you didn't, um, tell her did you?" I can almost hear the anxiety in his throat as he asks me, I furrow my brows and give him a confused look as if to say 'do you think I'm dumb?'.

"No dumbass, I didn't tell her, do you really think I would want to get my best friend killed?" I say through gritted teeth looking directly into his eyes, his face goes red slightly knowing he did indeed ask a stupid question which boiled my blood.

"Yeah sorry, stupid question, it just worries me" he says in a sympathic tone, I let out a breath I didn't realise I was holding and nod my head knowing exactly what he means, if Gen ever found out because of me I don't know what I would do, I know James wouldn't hesitate to end her life right in front of me, and I can never let that happen.

I know Harry is just making sure I don't accidently say anything in front of her but I'm not stupid enough to get my best friend killed.

"I know, it worries me to" I say finishing on the last table and walking back around the counter and putting the sauces and menus away ready for tomorrow, I look up at him sat behind the counter looking down at his entwined hands.

I make sure everything is turned off and clean before grabbing my belongings, Gen left about half an hour ago because of a family issue so I told her I would sort out the diner so she could shoot off.

I slip my jacket onto my small frame before Harry's phone starts ringing, he grabs it before looking at me with a slightly concerned look before answering the call.

"Hello? Yeah, yeah, I'm with her now" he looks down at me and I gulp hearing him refer to me, knowing that it's James on the other end of the phone and now realising why he gave me that look.
