The beach was silent, everyone busy doing other things while Eleanor laid on Toni's tank top, underneath the rocks providing her some sort of cover from the sun. She stared up at the curvy bottom of the rock that blocked the sun, her face was on fire, body feeling like a complete sinkhole in the sand. She could barely move without feeling like she was going to throw up all over the place.

"You know, you don't have to stay with me." She croaked out, turning her head slightly over to look at Shelby who sat right beside her, braiding Eleanor's red hair back so it wouldn't get in her face. "What if you started throwing up? You can barely move, you'd choke on your own vomit and I'm not letting that happen. Besides, if I didn't, Diana wouldn't be able to have fun over there." Eleanor turned her head to look down at the beach where Martha and Diana messed around near the water, their jobs having been done for the day, the two taking a break from searching for berries. "Yeah, y'know she used to sit with me. Every time this shit happened. I'm glad someone is taking it off her hands. Even if we had to fight with her for twenty minutes."

Shelby laughed, nodding as she tired Eleanor's braid. "Definitely not as good as the braids you gave Toni but, it'll do." "I'm surprised she kept them in this long. I literally did them almost a week ago." "Yeah well, you're not good to do them again so...she's just waiting until you can." "Yeah right. Maybe she just doesn't wanna make the sick girl feel bad." "Hey." Diana appeared by Eleanor's side, kneeling down by her head. "How're you feeling?" Eleanor sat up slightly, her braid falling onto her back. "Yeah, Shelby's company distracts me from the pain I feel literally everywhere." Diana leaned forward, grabbing her sister's shoulder allowing her to lean her head on her shoulder. "If Wendy were here, she'd say something like 'see, this is why we listen when someone tells us not to do something." Eleanor groaned, a light laugh escaping her lips.

"I honestly never thought I'd miss her fucking polite ways of telling me I'm an idiot." Shelby chuckled, getting up from the sand and dusting her hands off. "I'll be back. I'm gonna go get you some water." Eleanor nodded and watched her walk off, still leaning on Diana's shoulder. "Which one do you like more?" "What?" "Oh come on El, you obviously really like Toni. And then I see the way you look at Shelby, which one do you like more?" Eleanor shook her head, sitting up straight tucking loose hair behind her ears. "Neither." "Oh c'mon El, you like them." "Diana stop." Diana paused, the seriousness in her voice made the girl lean back, her smile falling.

"You don't think you deserve them." "What?" Eleanor turned to look at Diana. "It's obvious you like them El. And it's pretty damn obvious Toni likes you. I mean c'mon the girl practically drools when she looks at you." "Oh fuck off Dee." "I'm serious!" Eleanor turned to her sister, opening her mouth to speak when Rachel's scream interrupted her.

"Hey, party people! Who's ready to fucking feast!" She held up a bag of something that she'd probably found under the water. The girl's all cheered, Eleanor doing her best to stand up using Diana as a support. "Holy shit, is the Earth spinning for you too?" "Nope." Diana laughed, helping her sister over to the fire. "The girl's set up the shellfish on hot rocks watching them begin to cook, all impatiently waiting for them to be done.
