The storm came in so fast no one even saw it coming, except for one person. The blonde that had been awake for seemingly no reason to anyone but a certain redhead. It was lightning and the thundering booms only added to everyone's growing fear of what was going to happen. Diana was holding her sister tightly, Eleanor holding her tightly both letting the rain hit them not even trying to use anything to cover themselves. It would only make it worse.
"I-It's cold!" Diana yelled over the rain, her teeth chattering. "I know but it should be over soon!" Eleanor spit out water that was dripping down her face, her skin was covered in goosebumps and water droplets. Her shoulders were shaking as the freezing cold winds practically smacked her unsheltered arms. "I used to think thunderstorms were, like, majestic." "That still your take?" Thunder boomed right after Rachel yelled, it was perfect timing. "No!" Thunder boomed again along with a long lightning bolt in the sky that Eleanor watched jump across the sky before it disappeared along with her sense of peace.
"Everybody, grab an end! Get under!" Dot was pulling what was left of the emergency slide, Eleanor not even thinking about she sprung up taking one of the main ends like Dot. Both girls helping everyone get under as quickly as possible. "Everybody in!" "Grab an end!" "C'mon!" Finally then slid under, Eleanor in between Toni and Diana, her hand instinctively going into her sisters and squeezing. "I'm scared." Diana cried, itching her arm like her life depended on it. "I know, but it's just a storm. Sounds like fireworks, remember? Fourth of July fireworks." Diana nodded, closing her eyes as she brought her knees to her chest still holding her sister's hand.
"Fucking hell." Eleanor dug her nails into her legs, itching as hard as possible. "Why am I so fucking itchy?" Toni looked over at her concerned also itching limbs. "Me too." "Shit, sand fleas." "Sand what?" "Sand fleas! Well, they're not really like fleas. They're more like tiny little shrimp." "No." "They're not lethal. They're just annoying. Once the rain stops, we can just go scrub them off, you know, before they get a chance to burrow."
A few screams came from the girls as Fatin dove out from the slide screaming at the sky. "Fuck my life!" Eleanor would have laughed if it wasn't for her crying sister in her arms, or the fact that her legs were itching so badly that the scratches she was making were beginning to draw blood in places. She only stared ahead at the island, the hatred only growing inside of her gut at the place. "It will be over soon." She then looked at her sister, petting her soaked hair watching her nod digging her face deeper into her body.
"It will be over soon."

"If you could eat anything at all right now...what would it be?" Shelby then suddenly asked, her eyes still closed as she faced the sky. "Blue crab sushi from Hinata drizzled in ponzu sauce, with just the lightest touch, just a kiss of wasabi." "That sounds fucking disgusting." Diana snorted covering her mouth as they both laughed leaning against a large rock. "Oh no baby it's delicious and one day I will make you try it." A few light chuckles went around before Martha began talking. "I just want some Indian tacos, the way mom makes them...with black beans and Velveeta." "Oh, I would destroy some Velveeta right now. Like, I would just house it straight from the packet."
