Chapter 1

Jihyo's P.O.V.

Rosie and chatted for a while after I woke up. I enjoyed talking to her, she has this aussie accent that's kind of very satisfying to hear.

After a few more hours, we finally arrived in the airport. In the airport, there was a fuss. People were watching something or someone, making a scene.

"What's that about?" Rosie asked me. I just shrugged and I was about to drag her when I heard someone shout. It made me curious so I stopped.

"No! I did everything for you... please don't do this to me! I need you in my life Stacy! I love you..." a man begged the girl. Woah. I never saw this happened before. I thought this kind of scenes only happen in books and movies? Well... Poor him.

"Please.. Get up, Daniel. We already talked about this. I'm leaving, Daniel. I fell out of love.. I'm sorry." the girl answered. She doesn't sound sincere at all. Rosie looked at me.

"No! I know you love me! We love each other! I can't lose you Stacy-"

"Daniel just stop! I don't love you anymore! You're too annoying and clingy! I hate you!" the girl suddenly shouted. Wow. She's mean. The boy let her go and he broke down. He cried. I suddenly feel sad for him...

"Come on, Jihyo. Let's leave. A car is waiting for us outside. We don't want to be late, right?" Rosie said.

"Wait. What do you mean by us?" I asked her. Still looking at the boy.

"I'll take you with me, silly. We own the condominium you'll be staying in. I'll be living next to you, then. I want to have a friend here you know." she said. She's so kind. We just met earlier but she already trusts me.

"Thank you, Rosie. You're an angel," she really looks like one. Even her voice sounds angelic. She chuckled.

"No problem, Jihyo."

•FASTFORWARD

My mind was blank the whole ride. Rosie noticed and she told me to rest after we get there.

Honestly, my mind was thinking of something. I was thinking of what happened these past few weeks. Our broke up. Everything.

"We're really sorry, Ji." Nayeon said.

"Believe me, Jihyo. I loved you and I tried to stop my feelings for Nayeon but-"

"It's fine. It's o-okay... I understand, Jeong. You could have just told me."

I sighed. Then the scene at the airport suddenly crossed my mind.

Stacy and Daniel. Stacy fell out of love because Daniel was annoying and clingy?

Then why did Jeongyeon fell out of love? Is it because I was always far away?

My relationship with Jeongyeon was really hard. I have to work far away from them, and we just greet and talk through phone calls and messages. I would visit them once in two weeks. Sometimes I was too tired to even get there. I would buy him gifts and stuff. I did my best to be a perfect girlfriend, but I guess we're just not meant for each other. He was meant for Nayeon unnie... And I accept that.

"Jihyo? Hey. We're here." Rosie said so I went out and brought my stuff. I looked at the building infront of me. I'll be living here now.

After I organized everything, I took a look at my condo. It's a bit big for one person, but it's fine since I like big spaces. It has two rooms, one bathroom, a kitchen with a table, and a living room. It has furniture and I'm happy with it. My cousin lives here, and when I told him that I want to go here, he recommended it and I quickly agreed and paid for it.
