Chapter 47

"Jisoo-ah! Shoot the balls, don't just throw them! We're losing, oh my gosh!" Rosie scolded her girlfriend. Well, they're playing the basketball right now at the arcade.

They made a bet earlier after they watched a movie.

-FLASHBACK

"Hoo! Thank goodness that ended. I thought it wouldn't end. It scared me to death!" Rosie said after they got out of the cinema. They're still at their proper state.

They're still at shock after what they watched.

"Hey guys, are you okay?" Rosie asked. Jihyo, who is still clinging to Daniel's arm, with her teary eyes looked at her.

"No. I don't think I'm okay..."

"Me, too." Daniel agreed.

"Who suggested to watch that movie again?" Jisoo asked, and the two looked at Rosie.

"Hey, don't blame me! I was scared, too!" Rosie defended herself and pouted. But she smirked when she sees Jihyo's arm still clinging to Daniel's.

"Anyways, why don't we go to the arcade? Let's make a bet." Rosie suggested.

"What bet?" Daniel asked.

"Hmm, why don't we make teams? Me and Jisoo, you and Jihyo. We'll play games, and which team loses has to pay for the snacks later at the amusement park." Rosie said and they all smiled.

"Deal!"

It's currently 2-2.

They played the dance thingy, and Jihyo and Daniel won.

Then the Tekken. Jihyo and Daniel won again.

But, they played the shooting game, since Jisoo is really good at playing these things, they won.

Then they also played the hockey like thingy, Jisoo and Rosie again won.

And now, the basketball.

"Hey, it's not our fault Daniel's good at basketball. He's tall, you know?! And Jihyo has experience with basketball since it helped her with her height. So don't blame me," Jisoo defended herself as they kept shooting balls.

Their score is 32, while Jihyo and Daniel's is 56.

Daniel hasn't missed a single shot. Jihyo is surprised too.

For a moment, Jihyo just watched Daniel shooting those balls.

He looked so handsome. And athletic.

He looks like one of those characters in love stories where the boy is a basketball team captain.

'Wow, Jihyo. You got yourself a suitor who can do a lot of things and is so good at it. I'm proud.'

And it ended.

"Wooh! We won, Jihyo!" Daniel said with his hands at the air.

"Yey! We did!" Jihyo said and high fived Daniel. He wasn't expecting it, but he smiled anyway.

Rosie and Jisoo pouted in sync.

"It's okay! I have a lot of money, anyways. Let's go to the amusement park!" Jisoo said as she held her girlfriend's hand. Rosie gladly took it and they walked.
