Is this real? pt.2

Y/N's POV:

Sab came into the car and I couldn't even look at her. Obviously the girls knew that something was going on, but I respect that they wanted Eva to tell me. 

"Y/N first of all, I'm ecstatic that you're awake, and secondly, we didn't want to tell you right away because it's not our business" she said,

"Thank you. One of the reasons why I love you guys so much is because you know when not to bud into others' businesses. So thank you. Can I just go home now?" I said,

She got out of the car and I drove home. 

*The next day*

For me, school started the next week and all I've been trying to do is get back into shape and getting to know my campus more. After spending the whole day at the library and trying to catch up, I finally finished what I wanted for the day and headed home. By now it was about 8pm and I just finished a 3 hour workout and just chilled in the hot tub. Jersey and Valentina came by to talk and my emotions got the best of me. 

"Hey Y/N, how's it going?" Jersey asked,

"Omg are you okay?" Val said,

"Yeah I'm good" I said and sniffled,

"We can clearly see you're not, and we're neighbours, and possibly friends so please tell us!" Jersey said,

"K well I went cliff jumping this summer and landed badly to the point where I was in a coma for 4 months. My girlfriend came back to LA and when I went to surprise her, she was cuddling with another guy that I thought was like a brother to me."

"Omg no way, Eva did that!" Val said,

"Wait how did you- ohhh I forgot I'm a bit tik tok famous. The memories and certain things are slowly coming back to me" I said.

Jersey swam to be and gave me a hug. I didn't realize, but Jersey stayed on my lap after the hug and we talked for a while. I learned that Jersey was bisexual and Val was a lesbian. 

After sitting in the hot tub for like 20 mins, I saw a shadow walk near us. I didn't think much of it until I heard her. 

"Y/n, can we talk?"

"Eva, I don't want to talk. You broke your promise and you know I hate that" I said without turning.

She just started walking and before she opened the gate I spoke up

"Wait before you leave, can you give me my key back?"

She unhooked the key from her lanyard and put it in my hand. 

When she left, I broke down. I couldn't hold it in anymore. She didn't even try to defend herself and I don't want to be in a relationship with someone who doesn't try to defend themselves or try to fix what happened. Even though Eva is the love of my life, I don't know if I can forgive her. She broke one of her promises and everyone knows I'm big on keeping your promises. 

"Forget her, you have 2 new friends right here and we will be here for you!" Val said.

I pulled both of them into a hug and later went back to my room. 

*The next day*

S: Sab, Y: Y/N

Y: Hey Sab, do you know if Eva's home today? I just wanted to swing by and give her her stuff back and get my stuff back

S: So you guys are really done?

Y: Yeah, she broke a promise and you know that's what kills it for me

S: Awww okay well she's gonna be home today so I'll let her know

Y: Thanks Sab

S: Heyy, just because you and Eva aren't together now, it doesn't mean we aren't friends still. The girls love you and we would love to hang out with you

Y: Maybe. I don't want to be at the house and be uncomfy with Eva and Will

S: Alright, swing by anytime today, love you lots!

Y: Love you too Sab!

After my 3 hour drive, I arrived, but didn't see Eva's car. Maybe she parked in the garage. 

*Ding Dong*

"Heyyy uh Eva left like 5 mins ago, but I guess you can just put her stuff on the bed and get your stuff" Sab said

I didn't say anything and just walked in. Being in her room makes me wanna break down. I can't believe our relationship is done. I really thought I was gonna marry her. I put her stuff on the bed and went around the room to look for my stuff. I didn't realize but half her closet was my stuff. I took it all back and walked out. As I did one final sweep of her room, I started to break down. All the memories came rushing back and what really broke my heart was the bouquet of flowers I bought her was in the trash.  Anna was walking by and heard me. 

"Y/n you okay??" she asked,

I didn't answer her, but she came to give me a hug anyways.

"You know, Eva didn't mean to have this happen with Will. She was always denying him when she got back, but once you didn't wake up for 3 months, she lost hope and said yes. We were all shocked, but we still wanted to support her. We love you and nothing Will does will compare to the way you treated Eva. Coming from me, that should mean a lot because that girl was my life before she met you" Anna said and I laughed a little

"Thanks Boon. You know me, I hate when promises are broken and what you guys didn't know was that I heard all of you. That's why this hurts so much because I heard Eva say "I promise I'll be waiting for you". I replied.

Anna gave me another hug and we parted. I left for Fresno and didn't really want to come back to Just a House anymore. Sure the girls and I were friends, but with Eva here, I can't be around them. 

As I was leaving, Eva came home with Will. I hurt for me to see them together so I decided to go through the house and out the back. When I got outside, Mads' dog and Pluto jumped on me, causing me to fall into the pool. When I opened my eyes, I was back in the hospital.
