*The next week*
Eva's POV:
Y/n booked our flights last week and today we are headed to Toronto for a few days. My parents do love Y/n, but my dad has always been traditional. He didn't really like the idea of me being a part of the lgbtq+ community, but he warmed up to it. Now I don't know what he's going to say about me being with a girl and having a baby with her.
*Boards the plane*
We got to our seats and Y/n seemed very anxious. I know she wasn't anxious about flying because she loves flying, this is about meeting my parents and their reaction to me being pregnant.
"Baby you gotta relax, my parents will love you and if they react badly to the news, we can leave"
"I know, it's just I want your parents to like me and I think they'll hate me after we tell them"
"It's not them having this baby so I don't care"
"But they're going to be my in laws, I need them to like me"
"Baby the will learn to love you, just like Anna"
"Alright, I guess I'll try to relax on this flight"
"I love you!"
"I love you more!" She replied.
Y/N's POV:
After talking with Eva, I realized that Anna did learn to like me and I hope that the Cudmore's will too. They may think that me getting her pregnant at 18 was a bad move, but I hope they realize that I love Eva a lot and I want this baby with her.
About 2 hours into the flight a little toddler wandered into my seat. He seemed happy and didn't think he was in the wrong spot. I picked him up and walked around the business area to see if anyone's child wandered away, but it doesn't seem like it. I then told the flight attendant and they announced it, but still no one coming to claim him. I brought him to my seat and we played a little bit. After about an hour, he seemed to be tired so I extended my seat into a bed and we layed there together.
"Hey baby- awwwww" I heard Eva say
I didn't really open my eyes or wake up.
Another hour passes and I wake up to the child gone. I start to look all over my area, but I soon realized that he crawled over to Eva and played with her.
"He's okay, he crawled over the divider and played with me for a bit" she said
"Oh thank God"
"I can't wait to have this baby with you"
"What makes you say that?"
"I saw how good you were with him and how you freaked out after he went "missing". That's what I want in a partner. None of my ex's would've been a good parent, but you truly are something else"
"I love kids and with you, I will love them as much as I love you"
"I hope you love me a little more cause mama needs some love every now and then"
"Oh for sure. But I'm not sure how much alone time we can get once the baby is born"
"It won't know what we're doing until they're like 7"
"If you say so. I don't want to scar our kids"
"Kids?"
"Yeah, I hope that I can have another baby with you. But it's okay if you don't want another kid, as long as I have you, I'm content"
"I want a max of 3 kids"
"Whatever you want"
We played with the little boy and about 20 mins later, a flight attendant walks over with a woman who I assume is the boy's mother.
"Oh Lucas!!!!"
"He wandered into my seat area about 3 hours ago and no one came to claim him when the flight attendant gave an announcement so I just chilled with him here. He played with me and my girlfriend and then he took a little nap with me" I said
"They were so cute, look at this photo!" Eva said and showed the mother her phone
"Awwww thank you so much! How can I repay you?"
"No worries, spending 3 hours with this little guy was good enough. Enjoy the rest of your flight!"
"Thank you again!"
"Bye bye!!!" Lucas said.
"Bye Lucas!" Eva and I said.
A/N - I forgot how far a long Eva is, so I'm gonna say about 8 weeks
Spending time with Lucas did distract me a little for what's to happen when we land. Eva is about 8 weeks along in her pregnancy and she's not showing yet, but I'm sure they'll catch on when they realize she's gained a little weight and is nauseous. I just hope they don't notice anything until we tell them.
"Baby stop worrying, I can feel you thinking too hard"
"I don't know what to do, nothing is helping me clam down or get distracted"
"Come lay on me, it'll help"
"Okay"
I walk around and lay on Eva. It was helping me calm down and I eventually fell asleep for a bit. The last thing I remember was Eva stroking my hair.
"The plane is preparing to land so please all passengers return to their seats and fasten their seatbelts"
"Baby you have to go back to your seat, the plane is landing" Eva whispered and woke me up
"This plane ride felt like it was 10 hours long. Are you sure we're not on flight 828 like the TV show "Manifest"?"
"Yes, I'm sure. It just felt long because you're tired and you're nervous about meeting my parents"
"If you say so"
We got off our plane and no we weren't on flight 828. We didn't check in any bags so we were able to walk out to the pick up area right away. My hands were sweating and shaking and I felt like I was going to throw up.
"It will be okay baby"
Eva gave me a kiss and we walked out the doors to find her parents' car.
"EVA!!" Her mother yelled,
"Mommy!!!! I missed you!"
"Where's my little pumpkin?!"
"Dad!!!!"
"So they get all the love and we don't?!"
"You'll get your love"
"You must be Y/n! We've heard so much about you!"
"And I've heard a lot about you guys as well, it's nice to meet you Mr. and Mrs. Cudmore"
"Heyyy what about us?!"
"It's nice to meet you too Beth and Katelyn!"
"Please, call me Kate!"
"How about we head home?" Mr. Cudmore says
"Perfect!" Eva said.
