*Continuing from last chapter*

Eva's POV:

"So... I'm gonna need everyone's phones." I said

I could see that Anna and Emma were looking between each other and then Anna spoke up.

"Uhh I left my phone upstairs" 

"I'll come with you to get it"

"Okay..."

Anna and I both go upstairs to retrieve her phone and I was there to make sure she couldn't delete anything. When we got back downstairs, all the phones were in the middle and I was gonna go through everyone's and leave Emma and Anna's for last. 

"Before you go through our phones, may I ask why??" Dev asks,

"I got a letter from Y/N that said she cheated on me and that she wanted to break up-"

"So that makes you want to go through our phones??" Emma interrupted me,

"No... well kind of. It was brought to my attention by Sab that the letters were switched. The same day I got that letter, Jake Newman Dmed me-"

"Ohhh a new boy toy already!!!" Emma interrupted again

"WILL YOU STOP INTERRUPTING HER!!!" Sab told Emma.

"As I was saying... the way Jake talked to me reminded me of someone and I couldn't put my finger on it until Sab said it... Anna. So... I would like to go through everyone's Instagram to see if there is a Jake Newman profile."

"Okay, you can go through mine first!" Emma said a little quick,

"Okay..." both Sab and I replied.

I went through Emma's which was clean, then Dev's which was clean, then Tori's which was also clean. As I was reaching for Anna's she freaked out. 

"OKAY, OKAY, IT WAS ME!!! Emma made me do it. I saw how hurt you were after reading the letter I wrote and I didn't want to see you be hurt anymore. I wanted to stop, but then Emma made a fake guy and I thought I could use this opportunity to be there for you."

"DUDE!!!!" Emma shouted and slapped Anna's arm.

Anna started crying and that's when everyone kinda left. I sat next to her and gave her a hug.

"Wait, you're not mad??" she asked,

"I am mad, but I can't stay mad at you forever. You're my best friend and the way you talked to me through Jake did help a little with the fake break up."

"I'm sorry Eva, I shouldn't have let Emma do that to you and I shouldn't have let it happen. I've accepted the fact that you love Y/N and that we are meant to only be friends"

"Hey... we're not meant to be friends, we're meant to be BEST friends!!!"

I got a little smile out of Anna and then I moved onto Emma. 

*Knock knock*

"Come in" Emma said 

"Hey... can we talk??"

"Uhhh... aren't you supposed to be mad at me??"

"I am, but that doesn't mean I have to show it."

"I will leave the house if you want me to, I'm really sorry. I just wanted to be with Y/N because she seemed like the perfect girlfriend"

" I don't blame you... she is the perfect girlfriend. And I don't want you to leave the house. You're actually a really cool person and I wanna be friends with you. But you have to accept the fact that Y/N and I are together and you have to let it be. If we break up, then she's fair game"
