Lu Lixing silently recited the several nicknames that the system listed silently in his mind.

The expression on his face turned gloomy. He put down his deformed chopsticks that had gloriously sacrificed itself.
Jiang Su and Qi Jingyun had just arrived in front of Lu Lixing and Ji Qingqing. They were just about to greet them, but they tacitly remained silent when they saw the gloomy expression on Lu Lixing’s face.
Ji Qingqing noticed their arrival, so she politely said, “Hello brother Jiang Su and sister Jingyun. Would the two of you like to eat together with us?”
Jiang Su and Qi Jingyun chuckled lightly and said, “Thank you, we’ll be imposing on the two of you then.”
They sat down at Ji Qingqing’s small table.
Qin Yue’s expression didn’t even change when he handed Lu Lixing a new pair of chopsticks.
Ji Qingqing stared at Qin Yue.
Even though Qin Yue was her agent, Qin Yue seemed to act like Lu Lixing’s personal assistant whenever Lu Lixing came around.
“Hello, Mr. Lu. My name is Jiang Su and I have been looking forward to meeting you for a long time”
“Hello, Mr. Lu. My name is Qi Jingyun. I’m very happy to have this opportunity to have a meal with you today.”
Lu Lixing’s expression remained ice-cold when confronted with Jiang Su and Qi Jingyun’s enthusiasm. He merely nodded slightly at them without trying to add on to their conversation.
Ji Qingqing pushed around her meal with her fork as she listened to their idle chatter.
Jiang Su was already in his early thirties, but since he was an actor, he had always properly maintained and cared for his skin. As a result, he looked much younger than his actual age.
“Mr. Lu, I am very honored to have this opportunity to co-produce this TV series with your company. I hoped that there will be another opportunity for us to cooperate soon.”
“Tianyu Entertainment has always been managed by Shuyi. I’m not involved in the company’s investment that much. If there is another opportunity to cooperate with you in the future, then my company will discuss it with you.”
Qi Jingyun was a known beauty in the entertainment circle, but she usually acted very cold and aloof to others. But once she smiled, it was impossible for others to take their eyes off of her.
“Mr. Lu, the director of your entertainment company contacted me before and asked if I would be interested in signing a contract with Tianyu Entertainment next year once my current contract expires. I feel very fortunate to have met you today, and I believe I have already come into a decision now.”
“It’s very important for an artist to find a suitable entertainment company. I think you should think carefully about your decision.”
Ji Qingqing held the bowl with both of her hands and almost out laughing.
Lu Lixing rarely gave other people face. Qi Jingyun was merely exchanging pleasantries with him, but he managed to turn the conversation into an awkward one by just speaking a few words.
In order to prevent the conversation from taking a turn for the worst, Ji Qingqing pushed out her bowl of noodles that looked somewhat similar to glass noodles and asked, “Is this glass noodles? It’s delicious.”
Qi Jingyun looked at the ‘glass noodles’ in Ji Qingqing’s bowl and smiled, “I believe what you’re eating is not just a simple glass noodle. If I guessed correctly, then there should be shark fins in the noodles, right?”
