When no one believes, believe in yourself.

Chap 8

Wanyin goes to the dorms after classes so the warden can assign him his rooms and he can check when he can move in. The warden showed him his room which was big and very prettily furnished but it was shared, two beds and two desks told him so.
Wanyin asks warden,
Ywy: Maam can i get a single person room?
Warden: why? Your room is one of the best and biggest. And also it's special because it's for scholarship students.
Ywy: but mam i really cant share a room with someone. It'll disturb us both and also our studies.
Warden: but there's only one single room in this dorm. Others are shared b/w 3 4 or two students.
Ywy: I'll take whatever you give me, even it's smallest room or storage room. Just i can't share.
Warden: There's a room, let me show you, but it's not usable. There's no cupboard. It's so small that you can only put a single bed and cram a desk and chair somehow.
Ywy: I don't mind small spaces, I'll take it.
Warden: check the room first.
Ywy: I'll take it, I don't have a choice.
Warden: you have a perfect choice, a beautiful room assigned to you.
Ywy: Sorry mam I have some personal reasons. So room sharing is not possible for me.

The room shown to ywy was small and only has a small window. The space is enough for a bed with a table and single chair but then he won't have too much space to move around comfortably. He told the warden that he won't take bed, just a mattress will do, but he'll get the desk and chair.

Warden sends janitor to help clean the room after janitor wanyin cleans his room again with details and mops the floor hard. Then he goes to his shared apartment and packs his things.

He tries to sleep after getting a quick dinner of instant noodles, but wakes up with a scream after an hour. Then hears furious yelling to keep it down from next room and decides not to sleep. He checks online for open closet ideas and finds rack wardrobes which have shelves too,at a cheap price and takes less space. He plans to order that after checking measurements of the leftover space, after putting the study table.

Next day he brought his things early in the morning and left them in the room where a mattress and study table were already present. He left the things unorganized because he had class and thought to organize them after coming back from his part time job. He went about his day and in the evening after setting up his room he ordered the rack wardrobe with shelves, double draft door seal and weatherstrips online, that'd arrive the next day.

After everything arrived he set his room and he hung his clothes, which he mostly used on, his wardrobe rack, put his books and some other things on the shelves and his suitcase with bag and blankets on the top shelf. Then he applied a weatherstrip to the door and window and a draft stopper below the door to make his room a little bit soundproof,so he'll not disturb someone else's sleep.

Wanyin took classes, went to the Cafe where he works and at night studies for his class he wants to sleep but he can't fall asleep and doesn't have his medicine which was prescribed by his doctor 2 years ago. He couldn't afford to go to the doctor to get a new prescription and the pharmacist refused to give medicine on the old perscription. So he keeps pushing forward. He thought he'll go to the hospital on Sunday as he won't get any free time earlier than that. But Sunday's still too far and he's just too tired.

After a week of hellish week where he got only a few hours sleep in the whole week combined he collapsed.
