Pillar meeting

*Seven days later*

An emergency pillar meeting was held

"Man, I envy you guys dammit" sanemi, the wind pillar, spoke. "Why can't I bump into upper moons?" He asked

"It's not like people bump into them all the time" iguro, the snake pillar, replied

"Then how do you explain Tanjiro?!" Sanemi shouted. "But how are you three doing, kanroji, tokitou, Tanjiro?" Iguro asked, completely ignoring sanemis question

"Oh! Yes! I'm feeling a lot better!" Mitsuri, the love pillar, answered enthusiastically. 'They're worried about me!!' She thought

"I.....am not at full strength yet..." Muichiro, the mist hashira, stated with a quite voice.

"I'm doing good!😄" Tanjiro, the sun pillar, replied with joy.

"If we lose anymore pillars, the demon hunters will be in trouble.....but defeating two upper moons without a casualty is very noble indeed" gyoumei, the rock hashira, stated.

"You three recovered surprisingly quickly from this" Shinobu stated while resting her head on tanjiros shoulders. "Did anything happen?" She asked while taking ahold of a smiling tanjiros hands

'Please stop with the lovey dovey sh*t!' Sanemi thought with veins appearing on his forehead.

"I have to say, killing two upper moons in one day is very flamboyant!" Uzui shouted with a large smile. "Indeed! It is very impressive!" Rengoku yelled with his same, everyday smile.

"Oyokata-sama probably wants to talk to us about everything, including this." Giyuu spoke.
Just then, a white haired lady and two kids came into the room

"Im very sorry for the wait. For our pillar meeting today, I, ubuyashiki Amane(wife of the master), will be attending in place of ubuyashiki Kagaya." She said while she and her children sat down

"Right now, the disease affecting our master Kagaya has gotten worse. And he sends his apologies for not being able to attend this meeting infront of you all" she continued

Immediately, the pillars bowed. "Understood....I will pray for oyokata-Sama's health. And for you to stay strong, Amane-sama." Gyoumei said.

"He would like to give his thanks to all the pillars" amane said after a moment of silence

"Now, we have reports of strange marks appearing on kanroji-sama and tokitou-sama during their battles. As well as reports of Kamado-Sama's scar glowing and growing bigger. I would like to ask you two how you got these marks and how to obtain them" amane announced

Muichiro and Mitsuri were surprised while Tanjiro smiled widely. "During the sengoku era, there were some swordsmen of the first breath who were one step away from ending muzan. They all had marks that resembled demon crests" amane continued

Every pillar, except Tanjiro, was shocked to hear this. "This knowledge has been passed down though, so some people should know about this" amane stated

"But I haven't heard of this. So why are we hiding it?" Sanemi asked
"Because a lot of people were brooding over the fact that the marks were never appearing. So that's why, a lot of the information about the marks became hazy over time. Maybe because it was never laid out in stone back then. And the demon hunters were on the verge of annihilation countless times, so perhaps the succession died out at some point" amane explained

"But we do have one piece of consistent knowledge about them. "Once one person has that mark on them, it starts spreading to others. As if they're resonating." That was how one of the swordsman of the first breath put it"
