Tanjiro comes home to find his entire family dead. He was later found by Giyuu and was sent to Urodaki to train to become a demon slayer. But after he got their he got dreams of someone with hanafuda earrings(Yorrichi) performing a breathing techniq...
"Uhmmm Uzui?" Tanjiro asked, looking at the river infront of them. "Yes Tanjiro?" "Why are we here?" He asked with a head tilt
"Ah! Of course because of training! For your fourth day you'll have to swim all across the river against the strong current!"
"EH?!" Tanjiro shouted with a wide mouth "Now, get in there kid" Uzui kicked him in, making Tanjiro bellyflop
'The current is so strong! And the water is freezing!' Tanjiro thought while trying desperately to swim against the current
"Hehehe sorry kid"

"Let me guess, training?" Shinobu asked the tired Tanjiro "Yep"
Tanjiro was on his bed laying down with Shinobu by his side "Is training to be a shinobi really that hard?"
"Oh, you have no idea" he said, sitting up "Hehe I would say I feel bad for you but because of your training I get to see you everyday~" she shouted with joy
"Even though I'm beaten and tired?" He asked with a smile "Hehe yep!"
Tanjiro just chuckled before pecking a kiss on her lips "You're way too cute for my own good" Shinobu got flustered "How come no matter how many times you say that I always blush?" She asked, genuinely confused
"You just love me that much my butterfly~" he answered with a large smile Shinobu, while blushing, smiled and kissed him passionately
"You bet I do" she said with a large smile "And I do too" Tanjiro replied while cupping her cheeks. They leaned in and were about to kiss until
"CAW CAW Tanjiro Kamado is to head east to a village CAW CAW hundreds have gone missing CAW CAW" nezuko shouted, interrupting them
"Aww but I wanted to spend more time with my tanji-kun" Shinobu whined with a small pout Tanjiro chuckled and brought her closer, resting her head on his chest, hugging her. Shinobu quickly hugged back with a smile
"Me too my butterfly, but i promise to spend more time with you after I get back" Tanjiro said while kissing the top of her head lovingly
"Hehe as long as you come safe and sound I'll be happy" she said. They stayed in that position for a couple of minutes before Shinobu got up, not wanting to hold him here any longer(to her own dismay)
"Well then Tanji-kun, I'll see you later my dear~" she said lovingly

"I'll see you later my butterfly" he got up and grabbed his sword. He was about to leave until he got an idea
He dashed at Shinobu and gave her a surprise kiss. Though shocked she kissed back with a happy smile. They each drew back due to a lack of oxygen with a thread of saliva in between their lips
"I'll see you later my dear" they both wave to each other before Tanjiro ran to his mission. Shinobu watched his retreating figure with a large, happy smile while clutching her heart
'Can't wait to see you again tanji-kun'
. . . . .
"Huh? Why is it so empty?" Tanjiro arrived at the city just to find it empty and possibly deserted. He smelled blood and quickly ran to it.
'There's blood all over the floors and ceilings.... but some of it is a demons blood' he thought while sniffing the blood
'I need to see if anyone else is here' Tanjiro dashed out and ran around the city in ground breaking speed. Still, he found no one
'Was I too late?' Tanjiro thought with a frown. But just then, he caught a smell of a demon. He immediately knew who it was
'Akaza!' Tanjiro quickly ran to akaza, coming out of the city. He smelled another demon close to him but it soon disappeared. He reached him and saw him feasting on the corpse of a dead male
"Akaza you bastard!" Tanjiro shouted 'Oh? Ah Tanjiro! What a nice turn of events. Now I can test if this new demon is strong enough'
"Well, well, well. if it isn't my lucky day" akaza grinned as he got up. Tanjiro just stared at him intensely
"Nice intimidation" akaza complimented 'Oh believe me, you haven't even scratched the surface'
"How lucky I must be to meet you again Tanjiro. Unfortunately I won't be able to fight you today. But believe me, I will someday" akaza stated with a frown as he recalled how he lost to tanjiro
"Why not?" Tanjiro simply asked "Because I need to test if this new demon is powerful enough" akaza replied with a sick grin
'Is he talking about the other demon I smelled?'
"You can come out now" As soon as akaza said that a female demon came out of the bushes and stepped infront of the grinning akaza.

How?! I saw your body! I saw your corpse! I didn't sense your pulse! I buried you with everyone else! So how?! How are you standing right in front of me?! Why are you standing infront of me as the thing I swore to destroy?!

I don't know how I'll do the fight with Tanjiro vs nezuko but I do know that nezuko will easily loose once Tanjiro gets his sh*t together. The next chapter might be the one before the swordsman village arc. And yes Tanjiro angst next chapter
