Third Person's POV:

Everyone is already here in the cafeteria including Mom and Norman. (Y/N) watched from afar to see Norman in a suit and wore a black fedora on his head. These are the clothes that children wear once they are adopted. (Y/N) remembered Conny using similar clothes to Noman's before she walked out of the door with Mom. (Y/N) looked around the cafeteria with only her head and realized Ray isn't there.

Emma was by her side and was confused about where Ray was. (Y/N) was aware Emma is still upset about Norman so she didn't bother asking. Norman was still smiling and comforting the children that were crying about his leaving. (Y/N) was silent and watched Norman one last time.

"Emma, where is Ray?" Mom asked Emma out loud. Emma looked down. "The infirmary. He said he doesn't want to say goodbye." "I see." Mom said. "Don, Gilda. Take care of Emma, Ray, and (Y/N), ok?" Norman asked them. Don and Gilda smiled. "You got it! Leave it to us!" Don said with happiness in his voice.

"Emma, all the rest is up to you." Norman said walking up to her with a smile. Emma didn't talk back to him and stayed silent. Norman sighed and picked up his suitcase from the floor. "It's been, fun everyone. I'll miss you." He smiled at everyone, saying his last goodbye. Norman turned away and walked towards the exit with Mom.

(Y/N) knew Norman won't come back anymore so she wanted to say goodbye to Norman one last time but he is about to leave. (Y/N) was shaking, she wanted to run to him and stop him. "Norman! Wait!" (Y/N) said while she ran to him. Norman turned to see (Y/N) and was suddenly hugged by her. Norman's eyes widened in surprise.

"I just want to say my last goodbye. I'll miss you, Norman. Thank you for being my friend. A supporting and kind friend that is. Remember that time, I got lost in the forest when I was little. We were playing hide and seek together and it was getting late so I cried when I couldn't find my way out. But, you came and saved me. You comforted me and I was thankful.

(Y/N)'s tears began to fall from her cheeks and her body was shaking.

Though, you never called me anything bad nor judged me back then. I was grateful for having a kind-hearted friend like you. You deserve so much better. But thank you for all the good times, Norman." (Y/N) said as she cried through tears and broke the hug to look at him.

"(Y-Y/N)..." Norman said with surprised eyes. "I'm the one who should be thankful...for having you as one of my friends along with Emma and Ray. Thank you for making me remember one of our memories. I'll tell you another one. Remember that time I caught a cold when I was younger?

It was snowy outside and I caught a cold because I was playing outside in the snow. Mom brought me to the infirmary and didn't let you nor the others enter the infirmary except her. I felt alone in there but you and Emma were so worried about me that you both just went in without Mom noticing. " Norman said with a happy smile.

"Yeah. But Mom caught us in the end. Thanks to Ray, he had this genius idea to make a cup string to talk to you from outside of the infirmary. Emma couldn't hold her happiness when she had the cup in her hand." (Y/N) giggled through tears. Norman smiled and patted her head. "Great moments weren't they?" Norman chuckled. "Heal up, (Y/N). Take care of your arm, ok?" Norman said to her. "O-Ok." (Y/N)'s smile later faded, knowing Norman would leave soon.

"Take care of Ray, ok? I know he loves you so much, so don't ever leave him by his side. Got that?"

"Y-Yeah, I got it." (Y/N) let her tears flow before she gave him another tight hug, making Norman's arms wrap around her in a tight embrace. "I've never seen you cry like this but it is nice to cry once in a while. It'll be ok. Don't ever give up. I know Emma won't either. But, please...escape here safe and sound, alright? Make sure Ray actually goes with you." Norman whispered to her. (Y/N) was confused at the last part that Norman had said but agreed with him.

"I won't give up, I promise."

"Great. Goodbye, (Y/N)."

"Goodbye...Norman."

"It's time, Norman." Mom said, interrupting them.

"Yes, Mom," Norman said and slowly broke the hug, looking at all his family. He gave them one last smile and turned away with Mom to go outside at night to the gates. (Y/N) stood there heartbroken. She didn't want Norman to leave. "No..." (Y/N) mumbled. Suddenly, she felt dizzy and wanted to go to the infirmary but she almost tripped because everything in her vision seemed so blurry. She realized it was her tears blurring her vision. But, that wasn't the reason.

"(Y/N), are you ok? You seem dizzy, I'll help you." Gilda said in worry while she patted her back for comfort. "Hey, you don't seem ok. Let's take you to the infirmary. Your arm is still injured so you have to stay still." Don said, helping Gilda to take (Y/N). "I-I don't...feel so good." (Y/N) said with a weak voice and felt her eyelids heavy. All the children around her looked at (Y/N) in worry.

"Are you ok?"

"Will (Y/N) be alright?

"She is sick!"

"No, her head hurts!"

"Oh no!"

"I-It's ok, everyone. I'm fine-" (Y/N) felt her body limp and Don quickly caught her since she fell on him. "Gilda, help me take her upstairs now! Mom isn't here so we should take care of her for now!" "Right!" Emma stood there in shock and wanted to help, too. "Let me help you!" Emma said. "It's fine, we'll take care of her!"

"N-Norman..." (Y/N) groaned before her vision turned black.

(Y/N) groaned at the sudden sunlight in her eyes. She slowly opened her eyes and sat up on her bed in the infirmary. The sunlight that was hitting her from outside of the window made her confused at what time it was. "Is it morning?" She asked herself. She can hear all the children outside laughing and giggling. "It's recess." She said.

She slowly got out of bed and walked towards the door. But, before she did her head hurt when she remembered about Norman. "Norman..." (Y/N) said with a weak voice. She opened the door and looked outside the halls. There was no one in sight. She walked through the halls tiredly. She felt so depressed that she had lost one of her friends.

"(Y/N)!" A child's voice yelled behind her.

(Y/N) with empty eyes looked at the child behind her and made a small smile. "Oh...it's you, Phil." "Are you ok, I was worried. Do you need something?" (Y/N) smiled sweetly at his concern and crouched down carefully to his height. "It's alright, Phil. My right arm is alright, too." (Y/N) said in a sweet tone.

"You're lying! You're not fine! It's because of Norman, right!?" Phil whined with a hint of sadness in his voice. (Y/N) was surprised by his words and put on a sad face. "You're really a smart child, Phil. You can tell from behind my smile, don't you? And yeah... I'm depressed... because Norman is gone." (Y/N)'s eyes began to water. "That's why Norman told me to take care of you so don't be sad!" Phil put on a cute smile while he raised his arms in the air.

(Y/N) made a real smile while tears flowed. "Thank you, Phil..." (Y/N) brought him into a bear hug making Phil giggle. "I'm happy you are smiling but don't cry, (Y/N)!" Phil said while he gave a small peck on her cheek making her smile bigger.

"I feel much better, Phil. Thank you."

-----------------------------------------------------------

(Y/N) checked outside for Ray, realizing Ray isn't outside nor at the tree, he used to read at with her. (Y/N) was worried for him and panicked a little. Then, ran inside the house and ran through the halls to search for Ray. She didn't want to yell or anything so she continued searching alone in silence. There was one last room she hadn't searched for.

"The library." (Y/N) whispered while she stood in front of the library door.
