Evelina was back at home once again. The tension between her and the Malfoy's was at an all-time high. Summer was getting close which meant there was a limited time for the execution. She was cleaning on an evening in May when piercing pain ran through her stomach. When she took a seat on the chair because she thought it was just contractions, a watery substance ran down her leg. Eve yelled at Choco to grab her phone and the keys. Once he grabbed the phone he dialed Draco and handed the phone to her. "Draco. Get the fuck over here! MY WATER JUST BROKE", she shrieked before dropping the phone. Draco was in utter disbelief and grabbed his wand. "I need to apparate there, it's the fastest way. Meet me at St. Mungos in London."He ran down the stairs to catch the last train while Evelina wobbled over to Choco. Taking his hand, the two of them spun into a head-turning spiral. After a few seconds, both arrived at the entrance of St. Mungos. As they fumbled through the doors, a healer saw her and yelled, "Woman in labor. Get the closest room ready!"She led her over to a delivery room and lied her on the table. "Give me a few minutes to get the head healer in. You'll get the baby out in no time." Before leaving she asked, "Is your husband coming or in the waiting room?""He-he's coming. He took a train from Hogwarts so he might be here by the time we deliver this child. Can- AH", she cried. "Can we just hurry this up because I can feel him trying to get out?"The lady rushed out of the room and a group of healers came back. Someone spread her legs to see how long far along the delivery was and the head was already peeking through. The team coaxed her into pushing as hard as she could while controlling her breath. She screamed and cried out as the baby slipped out. "Fuck!", she sobbed. There was pain running through her abdomen and bikini area. Clawing onto the bed, the last push left relief. After delivering the placenta, Eve fell back onto her pillow. One of the healers took the baby to clean him up then placed him on her chest. "Congratulations Mrs. Snape. It's a boy. What would you like to name your child?"Evelina thought for a second then looked back at the woman. "I think Scorpius. Yeah. Scorpius Draco Snape Malfoy. Malfoy is my fiancé's last name.""I assume the father is Draco Malfoy then?"She nodded then looked back at her son. He looked exactly like Draco, besides the slightly darker complexion. Blue eyes as light alike clear waters and platinum blonde hair... He was beautiful. Before giving little Scorpius a kiss, Evelina felt her body shaking. First her arms, then she lost all control. Her body was violently shaking and a healer took Scorpius out of her arms.The last thing she heard was a nurse screaming for help while Draco tried seeing Eve. "Ev! What is happening with her?! Save her!"Her father stood at the doorway as she was sedated. Draco on the other hand was barging through every healer in hopes to see her again. Evelina was asleep till morning. Flowers were on her nightstand while Draco held her hand and Snape was holding Scorpius. His hair was pulled back and he paced back and forth. "Ev! Evelina you're awake", Draco triumphed as he kissed her on the forehead. "I'm so sorry I wasn't there for you. You had a stroke and I didn't know what happened."She smiled and gave out the smallest laugh. "Can I see him, father?"Eve asked before holding Scorpius. "Guys meet Scorpius Draco Snape Malfoy. The next heir to the Malfoy and Snape family."Draco dove for a hug while Snape slowly comforted the couple. Her head had a slow pounding sensation but the feeling of it finally being over was enough to overcome the pain. She and Draco could finally start a family, even if it was earlier than expected.Narcissa leaned against the doorframe with a short grin. "Congratulations Evelina. I'm sorry Lucius couldn't come. He had...work. Can I hold him, please?"Evelina's smile went from corner to corner. At least one of Draco's parents came to see her. She passed the baby to her mother-in-law and excused herself to get changed. Eve snuck to the bathroom and changed into a very light and flowy dress so that her skin wouldn't be so sore. "I should be back to school by tomorrow. That is if I do it right. We still have a job to do. Moth- I mean, Mrs.Malfoy. Can you please take care of Scorpius till the end of the year? I promise to take care of him next year but due to the circumstances, I don't have the resources to care for him at the moment. It'll only be for a month. I just have to pass my exams.""You could call me mother, Evelina. And I'll take care of the infant while you three go back to Hogwarts. I expect nothing but O's from the two of you."Everyone walked out of the hospital and the couple was forced to take a car with their new child. Narcissa and Snape were gone in a matter of seconds and the two started walking to the car. Once they buckled up, Draco leaned Evelina's seat back and placed Scorpius on her chest again. "Just take a nap. It'll be about three hours till we get to the Manor. I know it's been a long day but you can take a longer break if you're going to be in pain. I don't need you trying to kill Dumbledore when you just delivered.""I'm fine, Draco. And besides, I don't think I want to leave our son with your parents since Lucius still doesn't approve of me. I still have stuff in my dorm, so I should be fine. Just please wake me up when we get home." As soon as she closed her eyes she fell asleep.Hours passed and Evelina woke up in Draco's bed. Scorpius was sleeping in his crib and Draco was sleeping on his couch. "Draco. Draco!", she whispered. "Can you grab me a snack? I'm sorry love."He twisted and turned before rolling off the bed. "I'll be right back. Just sit tight", Draco groaned. A few seconds went by and Draco came back with a bag of crisps and water. "If you want more just wake me up. Love you." He kissed her on the cheek then sat back on the chair."Draco", she whispered. "You don't have to sleep on the sofa." Evelina scooted over and grabbed the blanket so he could take a seat. Draco slipped next to her while she ate a few crisps. "I can't believe we have to go back tomorrow. Just a few more days... then we can be a proper family. I'm glad this isn't a dream. It's more like a dream come true really."She grabbed baby Scorpius out of the cradle and kissed him on the head. "You, my dear", she smiled. "Are more than just a dream."
