THE FEELING OF SOMEONE WATCHING YOU WAS NEVER SOMETHING YOU LIKED.Especially if you felt as if they watched you in your sleep. It offset your entire body and told you their was a danger and that you should wake up. Which you did. The feeling of your new room made your entire body fill with goosebumps, a chill making you slightly shake your body as if to get ride of it.
You slowly sat up, the blankets crumbled around your body, sweat dripping down your back. You took a deep breath as you looked across the room. The white sheet blinds slowly blowed in the open windows. It was almost pitch black outside, the smoke from large Tokyo buildings lighting up the sky just a little.
You took in a deep breath, realizing that your body probably over reacted to nothing. Laying back down, you groaned, the creepy atmosphere of your room put off everything in your head, although there was no real danger.
You hummed, the small whistle of the wind creating quite a creepy white noise. You pulled up your phone, seeing as it was half dead, you forced yourself to get your charger from downstairs.
It was around midnight, and everything around the house was creepy. So the solution? You turned of every single light you could find, also exploring the house while you were at it.
Plugging up your phone at the kitchen counter, your checked the small notifications you had.
Mom: the guy will come and connect the internet tomorrow.
You furrowed your brows. The silence in the house was so... unnatural. Looking around the lit up home, you started moving around to fix the place up. Pulling the covers off the couch and chairs, uncovering the tv and the table.
You slowly started moving thing around until they were to your liking, the room slowly starting to feel more natural. You played some random music from your playlist to fill the silence.
A small smile came to your face as you started moving your body to the music. A knock on the door made your head snap. You slowly walked over to your phone and paused the music. Who would be knocking at one in the morning.
Creeping over to the window, you peeked out the glass, holding your breathe.
Bokuto. Along with another male.
'Is this where I die...?'
You moved to the door, slowly unlocking it and cracking it open. You raised an eyebrow at Bokuto.
The large box in his hand smelled familiar. Next to him, stood a male who wasn't as tall, having messy short black hair, and gunmetal blue eyes.
"Hi Y/n! This is Akaashi! He lives down the street."
"Sorry to bother you at this time L/n-san. I'm Akaashi Kenji."
"I saw your lights on and I figured you haven't eaten." He opened the box, sushi. That's why it smelled familiar. "May we come in?"
You glanced at Akaashi, who had no expression on his face. You opened the door fully, allowing them both in. Bokuto made himself at home, plopping the box down and laying on the couch. Akaashi opened a white bag that he held, placing some drinks on the counter. He looked towards you. "It's nice to meet you L/n-San. I hope your liking Tokyo."
You gave him a soft smile. "Thank you Akaashi."
The two boys gave off a comfortable vibe. They seemed almost trustworthy. So, you all talked. It was strange to connect with someone so weirdly fast. Akaashi was a setter for the same volleyball team Bokuto was the captain of. They explained a little about the game and how it was a major part of their lives.
Akaashi was one year younger than you and bokuto, to which he addressed you as Senpai when he found out. It was a strange thing to be called though since they didn't do that where you were from.
They explained how 'San, chan, kun' and all the name endings worked. So you tried it, yet the boys were okay with how often you forgot how to address the endings of their names.
Akaashi tried to teach you to use chopsticks, which at one point you got angry and stabbed the sushi you were trying to eat. This made you miss forks, yet Akaashi had quite the laugh. His smile was pretty that was something you couldn't deny.
One thing you noticed, every time Akaashi would get closer to you. Passing by you to get something or even standing near you, Bokuto would appear again. His loud voice would echo through you house and make the attention switch to him. Every time this happened Akaashi and Bokuto would have some for of stare off to which Akaashi normal backed down.
In terms of a pack, Bokuto would be an Alpha. Someone who takes charge and control. People either fear or love him. Akaashi would most likely be a beta, yet above the others. You wouldn't assume that he's a normal follower, since there were times where it took Akaashi more time to back down to Bokuto then usual. You would rank him as a second in command. Powerful, yet loyal. Sometimes challenging the Alpha in power, yet overall loosing.
Bokuto was a strange person to you. He seemed like he was hiding something. Strength? Knowledge? Maybe his entire persona was fake. Fooling everyone to think he's not smart enough to do anything. So he doesn't get blamed for the things he really does. He seemed a lot smarter then he was coming off. Yet if he was, you had no idea of it. Not now... not yet.
Whatever it is that Bokuto Kotaro was hiding, he was smart enough to hide it well. Almost too well. Which made you both confused and intrigued. Could he hurt you? Yes. Most things could. That's why having the predator standing to protect you was more important than going against it.
Predator and prey, it was all about control. The control the know having someone on your team will help you. Yet how far are they willing to go for you?
Lengths that almost seem impossible.
Yet nothing was impossible in the eyes of Bokuto Kotaro.
