DO YOU KNOW THE STORY OF THE HUMAN AN ANIMAL?No, no, no. I don't mean The Boy Who Cried Wolf, nor Mary Had A Little Lamb. This is a story of Non Fiction, as in it happened in real life. The girl and the lions. It's not something you tell to your kids, not a story that's often heard off. Since it happened a good decade ago.
There was a Photographer who got a picture of three lions around a little girl. The internet says she was kidnapped and held for about a week by a group of men who continued to brutality beat her. Three lions, one male and two female I believe, chased the guys off and stood guard of her for more than a day and a half. Maybe thirty-six hours? When police arrived the lions just left her, almost as if they knew they were simply guarding her.
The internet said that four of the seven men who kidnapped her were found. So I suppose the photographer found the lions protecting the girl and called the cops. It didn't say anything about that part so you could only assume.
A wildlife expert said that the sound of her crying is possibly the main reason why the lions didn't outright eat her. The sound of her crying was compared to the sound of a mewing lion cub.
To be honest, that didn't seem logical. Animals can be way more intelligent then humans believe. Sure most can't talk but they're smart enough to figure out ways to communicate. That's called adaptation. If animals are smart enough to figure out new ways to communicate their needs, could they be smart enough to protect that girl?
Either way, that little girl found temporary safety in being much stronger, larger, and that had the ability to instantly kill her.
You felt like that little girl right now.
As the first day of school rolled around, Bokuto and Akaashi both came with you to pick up uniforms. As Bokuto left to find all his classes, he entrusted Akaashi to protect you. So he was currently trying to teach you how to use the lockers. He explained that you carried most of your things anyway, but it was good to store your shoes in. Also they had inside and outside shoes. Weird.
You sighed as Akaashi took your Schedule and began showing you around the building, telling you which classes where which and where the cafeteria was. He said that it was better to pack lunch so you would need to start doing that.
He showed you simple places you could go during break, including the far corner in the library that he had never actually seen someone go to.
Akaashi had used this chance to hover around you, be as class to you as possible. Which you had clearly noticed. He asked you questions that had been interrupted the night you two and Bokuto had hung out. Getting news about your family and all the reasons you had come here. He got to see a few pictures of your art and asked you questions about all the things you used and why you enjoyed ii. It was actually pretty fun to talk to him.
He gave a comforting presence and apologized when he made you uncomfortable by asking a too personal question.
He was just kind of... always there. Hovering around you. Just, there if you needed him. You didn't know how to feel about it.
Having him just be next to you at all times wasn't convenient for you. You normally got to stray off on your own because you knew where everything was and how to get home. But now, you knew nobody, you knew where nothing was, and you barely could remember the name of the street you lived on.
So maybe it wasn't convenient for him more so. Maybe it just wasn't convenient for your anxiety. Either one, he was so willing to just be there.
When you stumbled on your own shoelace and he caught you with ease, when you kept asking him questions that even you knew he didn't have the answer to. Yet he tried his best to come up with something to satisfy you.
He was looking at you from up close now that Bokuto wasn't in the way, and he liked it. He was quick to realize that no matter what angle he looked at you from, you were gorgeous.
The was your hair gently moved with every turn of your head, the way you grabbed onto him and looked for an exit if too many people came around.
It was adorable in his eyes. But he knew Bokuto would end up coming back. Then he would have to go back to backing off again. It was considerably tedious...
So dull and tiresome. He would have to go back to standing behind him and letting Bokuto do what he wanted with you. He couldn't ask you the same questions he asked you today.
He couldn't see the beautiful smile on your face when he mentioned something about your art.
Well now....
He just couldn't let that happen, huh?
It would ruin him considerably.
His mood, his tone, his facial expressions.
It would wipe it all away to loose you so quickly.
So that can't happen.
Bokuto would just have to learn that he can whine and be sad and cry his eyes out like a pathetic baby.
Because having you was something Akaashi just didn't agree with.
