Third person pov

Ginny traveled with her friends to the great hall, seeing Y/N sit all alone, reading some book and eating.

"She sure looks good today in her house hoodie," one of Ginny's friends whispered to the others.

"Didn't know you were into girls, Clarissa." It was obvious it came out more harsh that it was supposed to be.

Clarissa just glanced at the other girls. "I was just complimenting," her voice lowered, afraid Ginny would speak up again.

She fought every urge to not speak up to Y/N, passing her without a word was harder than she expected. A waft of her perfume was the only thing she got out of the girl, inhaling and embracing the smell while it lasted.

Ginny really did miss Y/N.

Y/N didn't even notice the pack of girls walking behind her. She was just too invested in the muggle book she was reading.

"What you got there?" Levi appeared, sitting down in front of Y/N with three other slytherins by his side.

The girl looked up, a bit intimidated to see Levi. She glanced at his friends before speaking up.

"Just some book."

Levi had a playful grin, grabbing the book and sliding it to him. "The Cat in the Hat," he read to himself.

He opened up some of the pages and saw bright colors, giving him an aneurism from how colorful and chaotic it all was.

"Is this is a horror book?" He asked, pushing it back to Y/N.

"Apparently it's a kid's book."

Levi's eyes went wide, looking at his friends. "That's completely mad. How torturous of muggles. No wonder they're all wonky in the head."

"Anyways-" he continued. Levi leaned over the table, so did his friends. "There's a party at the forbidden forest later tonight. It's a quartet rumble."

Y/N looked at him confused.

"What the bloody hell is a quartet rumble," she asked, earning some chuckles from the slytherins next to the boy.

"It's when all the houses come together and drink. It's a tradition every year with 6th years and up," Levi's friend spoke up. She had platinum blonde hair, slicked up, and a devilish smirk plastered on her face. Almost like a girl version of Drac0.

"All top matches are going," another guy added. Levi looked at him, nodding proudly that he was one of the top matches, but tried to be subtle.

"Hey Levi," A girl greeted behind Y/N, waving at the boy in awe.

"You see what I mean. Even Fred Weasley is coming. All the top matches have to go. It's gonna
be legendary," Levi exclaimed, trying to contain himself from smiling like a maniac.

Y/N didn't like the thought of being praised in that way, especially from just how she looked. She's barely touched the app in weeks.

If she did attend the party, she feared to see Ginny there and Dean. Her night was already ruined the last time she partied with the slytherins, she didn't want to have another night ruined, not again.

"I'll think about it," Y/N pushed it off.

It seemed to convince Levi, because all he did was get up. "Alright, i'll take that as a yes," he cockily said with a smirk, waving his friends to follow him as they walked away.

Y/N watched them leave, goofing off and pushing one another.

Y/N looked over at Hermione, seeing her focused on writing on the paper. "Here," Hermione said as she slid the paper to Y/N.
