Third person pov"Truth," Katie, a ravenclaw, said proudly.
"Who's someone you wanted to kiss forever?" Lavender asked, bouncing up and down in her spot on the floor. The girl has been begging to play the most cliche sleepover game ever. And with the awkward tension between Ginny and Y/N, how could anyone deny? It was a perfect distraction.
Katie's cheeks went to a tint of pink.
"Probably Blaise."
The girls in the circle started giggling, except Emmie. Poor girl could barely move her face, the bandage almost covered half of her face. Almost like she received a terrible surgery.
The potion Luna gave is supposed to kick in later on the night, so it was just a matter of time until Emmie was finally healed.
As for Y/N, she was starting to get fairly bored of the game. They've been playing for only 10 minutes, but it felt centuries for Y/N.
It seemed all so repetitive to the point she felt like she was floating above, watching herself in third person, similar to an out-of-body experience. She could see herself move, but she didn't feel it.
"Ask me! Ask me!" Lavender beamed.
"Okay, okay. Who do you secretly like?" Ginny asked as she adjusted herself in her spot. She didn't like where she sat on the ground. Originally she wanted to sit next to Y/N but before she could, Aurora protectively sat between them.
Ginny found it strange how overprotective she was. Sure, they were friends and she did hurt Y/N, but something was particularly off about her.
Lavender squealed before answering, "Won-won of course!"
Ginny scrunched up her face, weirded out how anyone could like her brother. Out of all the people in the school, she didn't expect her to say him. From Lavender's outburst, she realized how the girl seemed a bit obsessively ready to answer it.
"My brother is a moron," Ginny said, but she quickly regret those words leaving as soon as she saw Lavender's face change.
"He is a genius. Have you seen him play quidditch? Absolutely brilliant."
The redhead scoffed. "I'm much better than him."
"Oh yeah—" Lavender straightened her posture. "Who do you like then?"
Everyone's eyes went to Ginny. They were intrigued on what she had to say, especially knowing how pretty stuck up she's on a certain person — someone in the room. Luna smiled at Ginny to assure her it was okay to do so.
Ginny blushed, looking down to avoid anyone seeing it. "Uhm, nobody of course."
"Let me rephrase that then. Who would you date in this room?"
Aurora stepped in. "That's enough. Clearly it isn't her turn."
Y/N just sat there awkwardly, fidgeting with her owl slippers. If the tension wasn't there before, it most certainly is now.
"She's a big girl. Let her answer." Lavender kept pushing. Ginny coughed to regain herself before sitting herself up to properly speak up. She was a big girl, and she needed to get her priorities straight. The girl said she would try to get close with Y/N. This was her chance.
Ginny glanced at Lavender then to Y/N. The redhead saw the hufflepuff sitting there in her own world, almost not acknowledging what was going on.
"Okay. Y/N."
Y/N sank down, avoiding the stares she was receiving from everyone. But it was getting harder to avoid with their eyes starting to crawl down her back, poking and nosing their business to her response.
