"You ready?" He asked, catching my attention from staring at the house in shock. "Yeah." I said with a smile. I'm pretty excited to meet the rest of the band, finally. I might actually fangirl more than I did with Kevin cause we're not in public but we shall see.

He grabbed his things and I exited the car, walking next to him up to the door. He opened it for me and I stepped in, seeing Manny and Alix on the couch. "Hey, guys." Kevin said happily, closing the door behind us. They looked over and waved with a smile. "Hey, Kev. Who's your friend?" Manny asked, standing up and coming over to us. My heart started beating quicker and my face heated up. "H-h-hi." I stuttered, my smile getting wider. He smiled at me and hugged me gently, of course I hugged back. "This is Trixie. Trixie, this is Manny." Kevin answered.

Manny let me go and smiled more. "Nice to meet you, Trix. Can I call you Trix?" He asked while Alix came over to hug me. "Yeah. Nice to meet you, too." I answered. "Where's Evan?" Manny asked, walking around the house and yelling for him. "Evan! Evaan! EVAAAAAAAN! EEEEEVAAN!" We all started laughing at him and he got no answer. "WHAT!" Spoke too soon.

"COME DOWN HERE!" He yelled again and we all heard footsteps coming down the stairs. "What?" He asked and Manny pointed to me. "That's Kev's friend, Trixie." Evan smiled and waved at me like the others did and we all went over to the couch and sat down. I sat in between Kevin and Manny but Manny wrapped his arm around my shoulder, hugging me tight and smiling like a dork. "Welcome to the family, Trix." He said, making me giggle a bit. "Damn, Manny. Don't smuggle her to death." Alix joked.

Manny gave him a dirty look and held my head with his hands. "She's fine with it, right?" He shook my head up and down and made me laugh more. I turned my head to Kevin and quietly asked him where the bathroom was and he pointed me down a hallway. I made my way down and did my business, fluffing my hair back up when it went flat.

I opened the door and looked down the way I came, seeing nobody coming then turning the other way. The room at the end of the hallway called my attention, so I went. I quietly walked down, checking behind me for anyone there before opening the door. All their instruments were in here.

I crept in and closed the door behind me. I found Alix's acoustic guitar and picked it up, finding a box of picks and picking one out. I sat down on the little stool next to where I found it, my back facing the door I came from. I played a little bit of tunes I knew before taking a deep breath, beginning to play and sing Game Freak. It's been a very long time since I last picked up a guitar and sang a song, but its not everyday I get to do it in the house of Ghost Town with the guitar that belongs to Alix Monster.

"In this darkness I see colors.
This dimension ain't big enough for you and I.
You got me waiting, but your mind is made up.
Just let it go and show me what you're made of (what you're made of)."

"Timing's everything. Gotta get that shit right.
It might get tight.
Breaking through that spotlight.
Chick's a game freak hurting all them boy sheep.
She's a wolf and I like it when she bites me (like it when she bites me)."

I finished it with a big smile on my face, hearing claps come from behind me. I jumped and turned around, putting the guitar and pick right back quickly, blushing bright red. Kevin and I made eye contact and I folded my hands in front of me. "You... you heard that?" I asked, he nodded. "You never told me you could play, let alone sing. Well, at least not around me."

"Oh, well, I-I was kind of sh-shy about it then.." I looked down at my feet, biting my lip and fiddling my thumbs together.

He came and stood in front of me, stuffing one hand in his pocket and gently placing a finger under my chin to lift my face back up. His bright green eyes sparkled and his smile was making me jump around inside. Slight chills sent throughout my body while butterflies fluttered in my stomach. My heart beat increased and my face became more red. I was lost in his eyes, and I can say I was in lust.

His hand caressed my cheek and his smile faded a bit. He leaned closer and closer to me, licking his lips. Our eyes closed and the empty space between us slowly disappeared. Once I felt his warm breath on my lips, more shivers traveled throughout my entire body once more. His lips softly brushed against mine, preparing those butterflies to fly away within seconds.

We both heard Manny start singing at the top of his lungs from the living room, snapping us both out of our trance. He let me go and backed up, my face must have been bright red by now because his is. "Come on, let's go see the guys." I said, smiling a bit and walking out. I straightened my back and let my arms swing at my sides as I walked, swinging my hips a little with confidence.

My heart was still racing. My mind was nothing but a blank space and it confused me so much. I've never had feelings for Kevin and I know I don't now, but, why didn't I pull away? He's my best friend and I don't want anything like this to ruin our friendship. It's taken a long time for us to be as close as we once were back then but finding him after all these years... I just have no words. We both have changed over these years, but I'm scared to find out if the feelings I have for him changed to something more.
