Jesper put his foot on the man's back and trained his gun on his head.

"Don't move." He ordered. The man on the ground didn't look like he was going to but groaned in response. Blood was trickling down his forehead and pooling on ground beside him.

The morning air was misty and it was early enough most of Ketterdam wasn't up yet. Jesper was in an alley finishing up a job for Kaz.

Jesper slid the notebook he was responsible for retrieving out of the man's pocket and slid it in his own.

"Well, nice meeting you." Jesper said flipping his pearl handled revolvers back into his holster and removed his foot.

He walked down the stone road towards his house. He still wasn't used to that. His house. He lived in a house. Not the Slat or some apartment.

Not only did he live in a house, he lived in a house with the love of his life.

Jesper smiled at that thought. It had only been a week since he had moved in but it felt like home with Wylan.

Jesper arrived to the house and took the steps to the house, two at a time. He thought of Wylan, and he took guesses on where he was in the house. Wylan liked to sleep in but he always seemed to notice when Jesper left. He was probably up.

As soon as Jesper opened the door, he got his answer. A very complicated piano piece flowed through the house and into the kitchen where Jesper could smell fresh coffee. Jesper walked quickly through the kitchen to reach Wylan in the living room.

There he was with his back to Jesper, bent over the piano, still in his pajama shorts but also wearing one of Jesper's sweatshirts on. His gorgeous curls were reaching towards the keys as he played. Wylan had played this piece so many times he didn't look at the music.

Jesper knew why Wylan had played this one so much. Jesper had mentioned liking it when Wylan was practicing. Wylan never forgot something he knew Jesper liked.

Jesper silently walked to where Wylan was seated on the bench. He gently put his hand on Wylan's shoulder. Wylan jumped and turned around quick.

"Wha- oh, Jes, it's you." He said blushing.

"Hello, sunshine." He took a moment to share a brief kiss with the pianist. "Sorry I had to leave early. Kaz had a job he needed me to take care of."

"That's the 3rd time this week and it's only Wednesday. I swear, if Kaz keeps taking you away from me, I'm going to hurt him."

"I'll warn Kaz for you, merchling." Jesper replied and kissed him on the head. "Now, how about some breakfast?" Jesper offered his hand and Wylan took it as he walked around the piano bench.

"Is that my sweatshirt?" Jesper asked, knowing the answer.

Wylan responded with a blush. "It was." He said stretching a bit.

"What do you mean 'it was'?"

Wylan replied with a smirk. "I stole it."

"But that's my favorite." Jesper fake complained.

"Well," Wylan taunted. He moved to the other side of the kitchen island. ",you'll just have to steal it back."

Jesper laughed and leaned across the island, supporting his weight with his palms pressed on the countertop.

"Don't make me come over there, merchling." He went to round the corner but Wylan was just as fast, causing them to just switch ends of the island.

Both of the boys just stood there for a moment, staring into each other's eyes.

Until Wylan's stomach growled.

They both laughed. It took them a few moments to catch their breath before Jesper spoke.

"How about a truce, until we're both done eating?"

"That sounds ok." Wylan slid the toaster out of the cabinet and set it on the counter. Jesper got a few eggs from the fridge and cracked them into a pan on the stove. He waited until Wylan had put bread in the toaster to strike.

He wrapped his long arms around Wylan's waist, pulling him back.

"Jesper? What are you doing?"

"Truce over."

Jesper let his hands travel to the hem of the sweatshirt and had just started to lift it when Wylan stopped him with a kiss.

Jesper let out a muffled sound from the impact and completely forgot about his plans to steal the sweatshirt. Jesper leaned into Wylan, deepening the kiss.

Jesper kept pushing forward until Wylan ran into the island cabinets. They stayed like that for a moment, Jesper's hand tangled in Wylan's curls while the other gripped his hip. Wylan had one hand on Jesper's bicep and the other was cradling his neck.

Jesper moved his hands to the back of Wylan's thighs and hoisted him up onto the counter with their lips still locked.

Immediately, Wylan wrapped his legs around Jesper, pulling him closer. Jesper caressed Wylan's thigh a bit, causing him to let out a small moan. Jesper smirked into the kiss.

Wylan furrowed his brows at Jesper's smirk and lightly bit his bottom lip.

"Wy." Jesper moaned into the kiss. This time it was Wylan who smirked. He slid off the counter top and began forcing Jesper backwards, until Jesper's back was against the fridge.

They took a breather, their foreheads pressed together, arms wrapped around each other. They could feel the other's heart beating, fast.
They remained like that for a moment before Jesper gripped Wylan's hips and spun him around, switching whose back was pressed to the metal of the fridge.

Jesper brought his lips down to Wylan's but Wylan put a finger to Jespers lips, stoping him mere centimeters away. Jesper could see a blush on his face and his gaze was towards the door of the kitchen.

"Um, Jes. Where did you put that notebook Kaz had you get?" Jesper looked over his shoulder to see Kaz, dressed in his usual black, leaning in the door way.

"Nice of you to drop in Kaz." Jesper slid the notebook out of his back pocket and tossed it to Kaz. "Now, could you leave? As much as I love your company, I have something I need to finish." His gaze came back to Wylan, who was now very red.

They waited a few moments before they heard the front door swing shut.

"He's gone." Wylan whispered. He placed a brief kiss to the taller boy's lips and started to move away.

"But Wy-" Wylan cut off Jesper.

"Jes, the eggs are going to burn and I'm hungry."

"Okay. But don't think for a second we're done just yet."

Wylan let out a small laugh as he took the pieces of toast out of the toaster.

"Yes, I know, Jes. We'll finish up later."
