(A/N: Quick heads up, my uploading may start mostly happening during the weekends because my hours at work have change. I'll probably focus on writing a couple of chapters a day during the weekends instead of trying to push out a chapter a day or every couple of days. I'll most likely focus on posting on Sundays and Mondays though so stay tuned for that! Thank you all so much for enjoying my writing.)

A soft glow filled the extravagant room as the sun rose up in the east, passing through the gossamer curtains covering the two large windows in the room. It was enough light to cause Mira to stir from her slumber.

Sitting up, she rubbed the sleep out of her eyes and looked about the room. Glancing down to her side she saw Heisenberg still snoring away. Smiling at the sight, she gently removed his arms from around her waist and slid out of the large bed. Making her way over to her bag, she began digging out her outfit for the day. Not knowing what the plans for the day were, she had grabbed an outfit that would both look elegant but be more practical than a dress. Sliding out of her Heisy shirt, she slipped into some slacks and a loose blouse she tucked into the waist of the pants. Finishing off the look with her black satin flats she wore the night before and a black belt, she tugged out her brush and started working at the knots in her hair. Putting her hair in a fishtail braid, Mira walked over and started peppering Heisenberg's face with gentle kisses in an attempt to wake him up.

As she pressed a kiss down near his ear, she spoke in a soft but sultry voice, "Oh Heisenberg, it's time to get up." She couldn't help but snigger as he grumbled out a no and turned so his back was facing her. Standing up straight, Mira stepped back and crossed her arms over her chest. "Well I guess I'll just have to go give Alcina all of my attention. Who knows, maybe she'll let me move in here." As soon as she said 'Alcina' Heisenberg rolled onto his back and sat up.

Glaring over at Mira, he yawned out a "fuck no." Stretching his arms, he swung his legs over the side of the bed. His glare softened as he looked at her. Grumbling, he stood up, "Why did we have to get up so early?" Stepping towards Mira, he rested his hands on her hips and pulled her against him.

Giggling, Mira draped her arms around his neck and leaned up to plant a slobbery kiss on his cheek. "I'm sure the lady of the castle wouldn't want to wait on us too long. You're forgetting I'm mortal and while I'm sure you would defend me, I don't wanna risk becoming vampire food." Slipping out of his arms, she danced across the room over to her bag before he could grab at her again. She grabbed out a red ribbon and tied the end of her braid in a bow. Spinning around to face him again, she smiled, "Let's get going, I can already hear people moving about."

Letting Heisenberg lead her out of the room and through the castle, Mira once again was entranced at the beauty of the architecture and art that filled the building. She was surprised to see the occasional woman darting around, doing the menial tasks of dusting and bringing fresh linens around to the different areas of the castle. They were all younger women, though their states of being varied between being plump and healthy to being very frail and thin. Whenever one would make accidental eye contact she would smile at them and each time they hurriedly turned away. It was clear they weren't used to kindness, which was a shame but knowing the true horrors behind the lords of the village Mira wasn't exactly surprised. It saddened her knowing these women were going to most likely become some lycan creature when the ladies of the castle were done with them, but there was nothing she could really do about it.

Pushing through a door near the center of the castle, Heisenberg stepped in and held the door as Mira walked through. They were greeted by a dining room with a table in the center. Their sudden entrance started a few of the workers as they brought in food from a side door, but they quickly ignored the two as they continued setting the table. As the last platter of food was set down the sound of heels clicking on tile echoed in the distance. As if on queue at the sound, all of the workers hurried out of the dining room in a matter of seconds. Moments later the door Mira and Heisenberg entered through opened and Alcina ducked into the room. This was a smaller room so as she stood she nearly hit the ceiling.
