"Karl you wouldn't believe the weird night I had last night," Mira kneaded the bowl of dough in front of her, glancing over her shoulder over to where Heisenberg sat on the counter. Tossing a bit more flour in to dry the mix she continued, "It was about two hours after closing and I was in the middle of taking a bath when I heard a loud thud downstairs. I thought it was nothing at first but it happened again and the radio turned on. Of course I had to check it out and a fucking lycan was stealing veggies. Do you know anything about that?"

Letting out a soft chuckle, Heisenberg shook his head. "Y'know buttercup, I have no idea why a meat eating lycan would steal your vegetables. Sounds pretty fishy to me. Maybe Moreau had a craving and knew you would have the supplies? He doesn't like leaving the reservoir so maybe he sent a lycan to grab them?" Karl smiles as he leans back, watching Mira work.

"I honestly doubt Moreau knows what a vegetable is, the lycan was grabbing specific ones though. Like it went into different crates. It looks to me like whoever tasked that lycan had a dish in mind. It's so fucking weird, it didn't even try to attack me even though a I swung a sword at it."

"You swung a sword at it? You own a sword?" The confusion in his voice was enough for Mira to turn and see the confusion on his face.

"I mean they're decorative swords but they're still swords no matter how dull they are. They're on the wall at the top of the stairs, have you seriously not noticed them?" Mira asked with a soft laugh. "But no seriously, it's so weird. Plus the fact everyone who does deal with them knows the lycans aren't quiet. Why send it on a 'stealth' mission? Like did they really expect me to not hear it?" Placing the dough into a bowl and covering it with a cloth, Mira turned to face him. "Like if they wanted stuff they could've asked."

Sliding off the counter Heisenberg approached her, cupping her chin in his hands. "You're trying so hard to make it sound like it doesn't bother you when it's obvious that it's bothering you, do you want me to ask the others about it?" He strokes her cheek softly with his thumbs, looking directly into her eyes. "Those fuckers are pretty sneaky when they want to be, who fucking knows if they are behind this."

Letting out a soft huff Mira shakes her head or at least as much as she can in his grasp, "no, it's not really worth it. It's just such a confusing situation." Shrugging she steps back, stepping out of his grasp. "You have stuff to do today anyways, we both do. I've got villagers to feed and you have bodies to play metal god with. I also have to go out and do business stuff with one of the farmers."

"Fine, fine but if something like this happens again tell me and I'll deal with it. I don't want them thinking messing with you is okay. I'll probably be stopping by again tonight, what time are you going to be out again?" Karl leans against the counter, trying his best to look nonchalant.

"Well, it'll be some time this afternoon, probably close to four or five. I'll be out for a while." Mira wraps her arms around his waist, resting her head on his shoulder. "After that you can come over." Leaning up she presses a kiss to his cheek before stepping away. "Now go on, I've got stuff to make and I don't need you distracting me. Grab a cornulete cu gem (A/N: jam croissant) on your way out, I'll see you tonight love."

Letting out a chuckle, Karl pulled Mira in for a kiss before grabbing a pastry and heading out. Watching him leave, she grinned and started making the day's meals. Again the day went by fairly swiftly and suddenly it was time for her to head out. She was meeting with a local farmer about buying up a decent amount of his stock of cabbages and potatoes for the restaurant. Boring but necessary restaurant owner stuff. As the sun began to set, Mira headed back home only to find candlelight filtering through the windows. Frowning, she hurried the rest of the way and went to unlock the door only to find it unlocked. Opening the door she is welcomed to the sight of one of the tables set up for dinner with a bouquet of wildflowers set in the middle in what was most likely scrap metal bent into a vase. Shutting the door behind her, Mira headed towards the kitchen where she could hear the sound of humming and pans being moved around the stovetop. Silently pushing the door open, Mira stepped through. Karl was in the middle of cooking a dish that smelled oh so delicious.

Clearing her throat, Mira piped up behind him, "you know, you didn't need to steal the veggies in the middle of the night. You could've just grabbed them when you broke in tonight." Wrapping her arms around his waist, she leaned up and kissed his cheek. "'I don't know why a meat eating lycan would steal your vegetables' my ass."

Letting out a hearty laugh, Karl turned his head just enough to look at her. "Well I was planning on making this at the factory but realized I don't really have a proper cooking area. Plus I didn't think it'd be as loud as it apparently was. I even turned on the radio to cover the potential noise."

"I think those years in the factory have messed up your hearing old man, the radio is what made me come down. They don't just turn on by themselves." Pressing another kiss to his cheek, she steps back. "Do you need any help or can you handle it yourself? I need to wash up regardless because I was just elbow deep in some compost."

"Go clean up and put on something comfy. I've got this darlin," Karl stirred the concoction in the pan in front of him. "It's almost done anyways so you can sit down right away. Go on, I've got this."

And so she left the kitchen and headed up to her bathroom to take a quick shower to wash off the grime and dirt off of her. She hadn't eaten much that day and her stomach made it very obvious with the constant whale songs that she was in fact very hungry and the smell of the food Karl was cooking did not help. Finishing up her shower, Mira slipped on a fairly simple dark green maxi dress. Nothing too fancy but just enough to fit a date night. Making her way back down, Heisenberg was just finishing up plating the food he slaved over. A wonderful bowl of Ciulama de Pui sat in front of both seats with a plate of Dolvecei Pané set in the middle of the table.

"It smells delicious Karl, thank you so much for this." Mira walked around the bar and approached him.

"Definitely isn't as delicious as you are in that dress." Karl's eyes wandered over her curves, a hungry look in his eyes.

"Oh jeez Heisenberg, let's make it through dinner first. I'm starving." Her stomach of course chose that time to rumble in agreement.

Shaking his head, Karl turned and started heading for the kitchen. "Sit down and dig in buttercup, I'll be right back." With that he went through the door and disappeared.

Mira sat down just as Karl waltzed back through the door, his overshirt tossed over his shoulder. Her eyes trailed across his muscles before flitting up to meet his eyes. Sending her a wink, he sat down at the table and smirked at her. It was fairly obvious he was going to wait to start eating until after she took the first bite so she did. She did her best to not moan as the flavors spread across her tongue. It could've been the fact that she was starving, but the food was one of the best things she's ever tasted.

"Darlin, where did you hide this talent of yours? Did you make a deal with Miranda to be really good at cooking for the price of being grouchy all of the time?" Mira reached over to set her hand on top of his free one. "You spoil me, truly. Thank you."

For a moment it almost looked like his eyes started to water but Karl's usual shit eating grin crossed his face as he took her hand. "I can't tell you all of my secrets, they wouldn't be secrets if I did. Now please, eat. I can't wait to tear that dress off with my teeth."

Mira let out a giggle as a growl erupted out of his throat, the hunger remaining in his eyes even as they ate. She couldn't help but get a little bit giddy at the idea he looked at her like she was looking at this food, a deep desire to savor every last bite. It left her squirming in her seat. The rest of the meal went by fairly silently, only interrupted by the sound of flatware hitting ceramic and a groan of delight from a particularly good bite of chicken coming from Mira. Though as soon as the meal was done it was fairly clear that Karl couldn't wait much longer to get Mira undressed and his way with her.

"Come here buttercup, time for me to have dessert."
