Hiccup POV:

On my way back to my home, I shot a rabbit, which I was going to make a stew tonight. I sharpened all my arrows when I got home and then I grabbed a loaf of bread and went back to the village.

After a few minutes, I finally got there and saw how a large group of vikings made their way to the docks. I sighed, but turned and walked a different way to forge. I wanted to avoid the bloodthirsty vikings and amongst them my dad.

I walked all the way until I saw the burnt down forge. I was about to walk up to it, but stopped when I saw the large man walk out of the burnt shop. My father. He seemed to be discussing something with Gobber. I quickly turned and tried to walk behind a building, but my father called, "Hiccup."

I sighed and turned around and walked towards the CHIEF and greeted, "What can I do for you, chief."

"Gobber is going to start giving dragon training for the next generation of vikings, tomorrow. And I will need to get a report of their progress for the time I am away," he said and then leaned forward and said, "You will have to give me that."

I nodded and said, "Off course, chief." O, great. Now I have to look how the rest fight dragons and score them.

He nodded and said, "Good." He then turned around and shook Gobber's hand and said, "I'll be back in a few days, probably."

"And we will be here," Gobber replied and then let go of his hand. The chief stood a bit straighter and then grabbed his bag with all his clothes and then turned around and walked away, without even sparing me a second glance. When he was away, I groaned and turned to Gobber who gave me an apologetic look. "Don't worry, lass. He is just nervous about the trip," he tried to comfort me.

I sighed, but gave them a grateful look and commented, "Thanks for trying, Gobber. But it is pretty clear that you and Gothi are the only ones who will ever talk with me. Well, she does that writing thing."

He smiled and said, "Well, shall we get started."

I smiled and said, "So how do you want to go at this?"

He smiled and said, "I was thinking that, we cleared everything and then you make a new design and work from there."

I smiled and said, "Sounds good."

We then went inside and cleaned all the burnt wood pieces and everything that was destroyed. We got all the things that were still fixable and things that weren't really damaged. And then that's when we both went to the burnt table and drew the new design for his place. I already knew what he wanted so I just asked if I could test some new designs and he happily obliged.

After a short time, I made the math and we went to get all the wood from the Hackers, the wood chopping family. After some time we got all the wood and loaded it all on the cart. After working a price for the wood, me and Gobber walked down the road, while he was chatting happily. On the way, I saw Astrid and Hunter walking down the road, hand-in-hand.

I wanted to tell her about what he was doing behind her back. But knew that she wouldn't believe me. I sighed mentally and kept pulling the cart. We later arrived at the forge and started to rebuild it.

We worked on it, while Gobber sang terribly and I made sarcastic comments how my ears were going to burn away from the dreadful noise. He hammered all the planks into place, with force, while I did it with accuracy and technique, but it didn't matter. By the end of the day, we were both drenched in sweat.

So we walked to the back, where a barrel of water was. I let Gobber clean himself first with the towel, while I sat on a stool in the shade. He took the cloth and started to clean himself and I started to think about why the chief asked me to give him a report. My mind raced to figure out why and after a minute I had a reason, but I needed to make sure.
