You met the Quagmires in the Austere academy, and it was an instant click, it was like you were meant to be friends. A sign of the universe telling you about all the adventures that would await you. You remembered the day that they arrived; Isadora and Duncan Quagmire. You were the same age as Isadora as Duncan was a few years younger.
You first noticed them sitting all alone in the cafeteria, the two of them looked scared around. You ignored all the other's whisperers about them being orphan's as you made your way over to them. "Hey my name is Y/n." you stood next to their table, smiling shy. "I'm Isadora and this is my brother Duncan." The girl replied.
Duncan waved shy at you as you waved back. "Can I sit with you?" you weren't sure if they wanted to be friends with you but you smiled bright as they both nodded, Isadora moved a seat over as you seated yourself down next to her. "You're the first one who is nice to us..." Duncan said soft as he looked over to his sister.
"I know there are only a few nice people here. It's a shame everyone is so rude." you had to control your urge to clench your fist, you thought it was horrible how rude some people could be. "Well we're glad we've met you." Isadora smiled bright at you as Duncan nodded soft. - "Friends?" you asked them curious as you held your hand above the table. "Friends!" they both said at the same time as they placed their hands-on top of yours, sealing your friendship.
Ever since the three of you were always together, you helped each other with homework and talked about the most interesting things. Other children would look disgusted at the three of you for being so happy but it didn't matter to the three of you. You liked being happy and talk about happy things while the other students were just the same dull persons.
But that all changed as a new pair of orphans were brought to the Austere Academy. Violet, Klaus and Sunny Baudelaire were sent to this school on request of Mr. Poe. Isadora and Duncan were very curious once they heard the new one's were also orphans. They sneaked out of class without your knowledge to meet them.
The Baudelaire's were sitting on a bench in front of Principal Nero's office. Isadora and Duncan walked over to them and introduced themselves to them. "Hey, we are Isadora and Duncan the Quagmire triplets." they frowned soft as they mentioned triplet but only saw two persons standing in front of them.
"Where is the third one?" The eldest girl asked them curious as she looked past them to see it the person was hiding. "Uh... we lost Quigley in a fire with our parents..." Duncan said soft as Isadora looked sad for a moment. "I'm so sorry to hear that, forgive my blunt question." The eldest girl replied as her siblings smiled faintly at them.
"Thank you." Isadora replied as she gave her brother a quick side-hug. "I'm Violet by the way and these are my siblings: Klaus and Sunny." Violet introduced themselves to the Quagmires as they shook hands. "Nice to meet you all!"
You noticed Isadora was gone during the last class before lunchtime, she usually sat next to you but now there was only an empty seat. "Maybe she wasn't feeling so well?" you thought to yourself as you watched the teacher explain a dull story. As the bell rang you spurted out, hoping to find them in the cafeteria.
You seated yourself down at your usual spot, waiting for Duncan or Isadora to walk in. A few minutes later and they still didn't enter, you started to get worried and hoped nothing had happened. Suddenly you saw them walk in with three new children by their side. You waved at them so they noticed you but they walked past your table and seated themselves down at the end of the cafeteria.
You lowered your hand confused as you watched them sit somewhere else with three strangers. You watched as they talked and laughed together, it made you sad and angry at the same time that they had forgotten about you. Several of your students noticed you all sitting by yourself and started to laugh at you as they walked past your table.
