You shot up, sputtering some sand out of your mouth. Beside you shook Klaus the sand out of his hair. Violet slowly pulled herself and Sunny up. – "That was terrible steering work!" – you turned your head to Count Olaf, who was stretching his back. – "At least we brought you to land!" – you called back, crawling up to your feet. Count Olaf pulled his lip a bit up out of disgust. – "It's not like you did anything?" – Violet backed you up, dusting sand off Sunny. – "Children..." – Count Olaf muttered out, turning away from them. It was then that he realized that he was stranded on an island. An Island that he had discovered. – "I have discovered an island..." – he called out, stepping closer to where the trees started to grow. You frowned seeing pink sheep come from behind the trees. – "Are you seeing the pink sheep as well?" – you whispered to Klaus, who had come standing next to you. – "I believe so..." – he replied, pushing his glasses better on his nose. – "I'm calling it!" – Count Olaf jumped around, pointing firm at you and the Baudelaire's. – "It's my island!" – he added, opening his arms like a visionary.

"You haven't discovered it! there are already people living here!" – Klaus shouted at him, seeing the self-build houses from between the trees. – "Then they should worship me!" – Count Olaf spitted back. – "Like that is ever going to happen?" – Violet whispered to you. You chuckled leaning in closer to her. – "Who knows what persona he will come up next." – Both of you giggled at the thought. – "Hold this, servant boy!" – Count Olaf had taken off his worn off jacket, handing it over to Klaus. He let go of the jacket as Klaus watched it fall to the ground. Like hell he was going to take that for him. Shaking his head to Count Olaf, Klaus made his way over to Violet and you. – "So, what are we going to do now?" – you asked him as Klaus inhaled deep. – "The boat is clearly unrepairable..." – you pointed at the boat that laid broken at the top of the rocks. Klaus inhaled deep again, trying to think of a solution.

"We have no way off this island!" – you added, throwing your hands up at the sight of the pointy rocks that surrounded the island. – "Not to mention he is here!" – crossing your arms, you glared at Count Olaf. – "We can always see if the villagers would help us?" – Violet said soft, already noticing the annoyed expression on her brother's face. – "And what if they aren't friendly? What if they are some kind of weird cult?" – you pitched in, not seeing Klaus cringe at your constant babbling. He tried to think of something, but your voice kept taking him off any good plan, bursting through his think bubble. – "we'll have to take our chances on it..." – Violet softly spoke back to you, seeing the agitated expression on Klaus. You were about to open your mouth again as Klaus held his hand on your mouth. – "Y/n I would appreciate some silence so that I can think..." – Klaus said on a friendly yet slightly annoyed tone. – "That means shut it not Baudelaire orphan!" – Count Olaf shouted at you, standing just outside your circle.

You pushed Klaus's hand off you, glaring at Count Olaf. – "At least I'm doing something!" – you shot Count Olaf a witty glance as he groaned at your presence. Klaus cringed again as he felt close to a plan, but you broke through him again. – "Y/n please... just this once... can you stop talking..." – Klaus slowly said, trying to not yell at you. – "Fine! I'll step back!" – you said, crossing your arms as you stepped away from the Baudelaire children. Klaus sighed loud, moving the palm of his hand over his face. – "We'll let you think..." – Violet said, taking Sunny's hand. – "No... you don't need to go... I know we can think of something brilliant together." – Violet smiled soft, seating herself down in the sand with Sunny. You had stomped over to a rock as you seated yourself down on it. – "Hey! Orphan girl" – Count Olaf called out to you with a whistle. – "What do you want?" – you called out, turning your body away from him as he approached you.

"You can always be off assistance to me?" – Count Olaf, opened his arms, allowing you to take in his greatness. You looked at him with a disgusted expression. – "No thank you..." – Count Olaf sighed loud, sitting himself down in the sand beside you. – "You sure you can't fetch me a drink? I'm parched!" – He peeked at you, overdramatically acting as if he was dehydrated. – "No!" – you yelled back, making the Baudelaire's look brief at you. – "Jeez, you orphans always think you are better than anyone else..." – Count Olaf muttered out. – "Don't you have some villagers to torment or so?" – you spoke back, glaring at him. Count Olaf purred at you like an animal, showing you his teeth as a response. – "Oh, real mature..." – you sighed out, rolling with your eyes. Your eyes went up to Klaus and his siblings talking to each other as they tried to come up with a plan. You kept looking at them with a longing in your eyes as Count Olaf noticed it.

"Comfy isn't it, seeing them together with no need of you..." – he spoke out with an earie grin on his face. – "Oh, shut up!" – you spoke back, letting your head rest on your hand. – "I mean... I don't see you there with them..." – Count Olaf continued, trying to lure you out. – "I hate to break it to you orphan, but it is always going to be the three of them." – Count Olaf started to collect some sand in his hand to throw it away. – "What do you know about it!" – you spoke back, feeling the effect of his words slowly pour into you. – "I have eyes... it's always them together, when was the last time you were included in their plotting?" – He gritted his teeth at the idea, glaring at the Baudelaire orphan's. – "Don't you feel a little left out? I mean ... do you honestly think they care for you..." – Count Olaf grinned at the heartbroken expression on your face. – "If I was you, I would speak my mind to them!" – He smiled devious, trying to keep his evil laughter to himself. He then kept quiet, knowing his words would do the trick sooner then later.

The Baudelaire's were still planning further up in the sand as you sat dreary on a rock. Count Olaf's words swirling around your mind as you couldn't get rid of them. Count Olaf had laid himself back, enjoying the sun. – "Not important..." – you started to mumble underneath your breath, glaring at the display before you. Count Olaf opened one of his eyes, peeking at you to see if his plan was working. Clenching your jaw, you couldn't shake the feeling away. – "Enough!" – you called out, jumping up to your feet. Count Olaf smiled as he watched you storm off to them. You stomped furious towards them, not caring if they would send you away. – "Do you already have a plan?" – you spoke out a bit more frustrated then you wanted it to be. Klaus and Violet frowned at your sudden outburst. – "Almost we..." – Klaus started as you didn't let him finish. – "Then you wouldn't mind if I join right? Or is this your sacred moment!" – crossing your arms, you glared at them.

"What are you talking about Y/n?" – Klaus came standing up, confused to why you were suddenly acting this way. – "You don't think I notice it! the three of you always plotting things without me!" – Klaus gave his sister a confused look as it only added more fuel to your fire. – "If I'm not important then you should just tell me!" – you yelled at him as Count Olaf was laughing quietly. – "Y/n what the hell are you talking about? of course you are important..." – Klaus responded, wanting to touch your arm but you pushed him off. – "Oh, really then why am I always excluded out of things. All you ever care about are your siblings! You three will never care for anyone else then your own!" – you fired out, feeling tears form in your eyes. – "Are you out of your mind? Who even put those thoughts in your mind?" – Klaus started to get angry himself as he didn't know why you were acting this way. – "Y/n?" – Klaus took a hold of your arms, furrowing his eyebrows at you.

You pushed him off you, tears rolling down your cheek. – "Just tell me the truth!" – you yelled at him, pushing him away from you. – "Tell me!" – you screamed out as Klaus had enough of your strange behavior. He avoided your pushing hands, grabbing tight onto your arms. You kept shaking your head, knowing that you meant nothing to him. Klaus took a hold of your head, stopping it from shaking as he pressed his lips onto yours. You gulped, eyes wide open with shock as you felt his lips onto yours. You needed a moment to process what was happening as Klaus released his lips soft from yours. You took the moment to breath again as Klaus stepped closer to you, kissing you again. This time you kissed him back, letting your hands go to his hair. Both of you pulled away as all the frustration had left your body. – "Do you believe me now that you are important to me?" – he whispered to you, his head close to yours. You nodded, biting your lip as Klaus curled up a smile.
