Water moved slowly up and down the beach as a warm soft breeze played with your hair. Your eyes gazing at the lower part from the rocky circle around the island as the two pointy ends stood out. The sand had gotten into your sandals as it colored your toes golden yellow. You knew the water would soon rise, giving you a clear spot to escape the island.

You heard behind you some movement as it disturbed the silent. On the island there were no birds just the coloured sheep that gazed on the grass just behind the trees. The blue-sky water touched your toes as it cleared some sand of them, the water started to rise as the rocks in the distance sunk deeper.

The boat next to you started to move gently from the water that touched it brief. As the water started to rise more you felt a hand go perfectly into yours. You looked next to you as Klaus had come standing next to you, holding your hand. Violet, Sunny and the new-born came standing on your other side as you looked brief at them. – "I still cannot believe that we are free!" – Violet said soft as everyone gazed at the rising of the water. – "I never thought this day would come?" – Klaus replied as he squeezed your hand a bit tighter.

"What will we do now?" – you said soft as Violet and Klaus looked at you from each side. – "Invent?" – Violet said as she looked back in front of her. – "Read?" – Klaus replied after her as he placed his glasses a bit better on his nose. – "Cook!" – Sunny called out in her sweet voice as you cracked a soft laugh. You looked over your shoulder to the two graves that were marked with a rock. One with an 'K' and one with an 'O'. – "I wish Kit was still alive..." – you moved your attention to the baby in Violet's arms as she squealed loud.

"We all do... no baby should be born an orphan..." – Violet called out as she looked down at the girl in her hands. You looked back over your shoulder to the grave next to hers, it belonged to Count Olaf as he died next to her. You never knew Olaf had a heart but once he had one for Kit, she the one he couldn't forget after all that pain and misery. He had helped her to shore as he was hit with a harpoon by Ish. Those last moments with him and Kit were the ones that made you believe in love after pain.

Count Olaf had done terrible things in his life but the moment he knew Kit was dying he risked everything for her. You admired his love a bit for her as you understood his pain, you didn't agree with how he handled things, but you could understand his pain. He had lost so many things that he couldn't tell right from wrong and took a turn in a wrong direction. Sunny pulled you out of your thoughts as she called out that the water was high enough now.

You all walked over to the boat as you looked at the name of the boat. – "We can't sail home with Count Olaf's name on it?" – Violet called out as she had placed Sunny in the boat. – "I believe the original name is still visible?" – Klaus replied as he moved to the plank and ripped it off the boat. – "Beatrice..." – Violet said soft as she smiled soft. Everyone looked back at the baby sitting in her stroller as Klaus said to her. – "That is your name Beatrice!" – Beatrice squealed loud as Violet walked over to her and took a seat in the boat with Beatrice on her lap.

"Let's go home..." – Klaus said to you as you nodded soft, preventing yourself from crying. Klaus took your hand again and squeezed it soft, - "No more loss..." – he whispered to you as you smiled faintly at him. – "No more loss..." – you repeated as he moved closer to you and pressed his lips against yours. You felt all your troubles disappear as you could finally love him freely without worrying if you might lose him. he let go of your hand as he moved them to the end of the boat, you did the same as you both started to set yourself off in the sand.

The sand got into your sandal's as you pushed the boat further towards the water, once the boat hit the water you jumped in the boat and Klaus followed you seconds later. The wind blew the boat further up the water as you approached the crossway, you held your breath for a moment thinking that a tip of the rock would slam against the boat. When it didn't you breathed again and saw the open water in front of you, being reflected by the sun.
