Violet, Klaus and Sunny has stopped suddenly on the ice as there seemed to be something under the ice. Klaus who sat in the front jumped a bit of fear as he watched a telescope lift from under the ice. Violet moved her head from behind his body, to see what was happening. – "VFD..." – Sunny called out as she pointed at the strange telescope.

Violet and Klaus laughed soft as they knew they were save. – "Quickly what would anyone from VDF say?" – Violet asked her siblings as they all started to shout several things at the same time. Nothing happened until Klaus suddenly looked behind him to his sisters with an expression that he had found the solution. Violet also looked shocked back as Sunny nodded soft, Klaus turned himself back as all three of them shouted at the telescope: - "Volunteer fire department!"

They waited for a few seconds until the ice underneath them started to rumble and break. They all looked scared around them, afraid that they made fall into the cold water. Violet held Sunny tight as they started to rise in the air. – "What is happening?" – she shouted over the loud noises to Klaus, who was searching for clues.

"It's a submarine!" – he called out as the machine had risen from under the ice, showing him an entrance just in front of him. They jumped off the sleigh and pulled the lever open to get inside of the submarine. The lit closed behind them and the submarine started to sink again under water. Klaus helped Sunny down as he took Violet's hand seconds later, Sunny called out something as Violet and Klaus slowly turned around at the inside of the submarine.

They shared a quick look before rushing inside to look at all the wonders in the submarine. In the center stood a large table with several maps and notes scattered around as Klaus picked up a few papers to see what the captain would be searching for. Violet walked near the side of the submarine as she let her fingers move over the wall while she looked curious outside of the small windows. Sunny had climbed on a chair near the table as she looked around her.

"Baudelaire's!" – they suddenly heard as Klaus dropped the papers out of freight, Sunny looked directly up from where the sounds came as Violet moved away from the side and joined her siblings. They all three looked up as they saw a girl not much older than Klaus stand at the upper floor with her hands behind her back. – "Shiver me timbers! You are actually here!" – you called out as Violet looked confused at her brother.

"It's an expression pirates used a lot!" – he said quietly to his sister as she nodded soft. You grabbed the pole on the right of you as you jumped down, sliding down the pole. Your feet landed with a loud thud on the ground as you smiled bright at them, once you had let go of the pole. – "it's a pleasure to meet you!" – you said to them as you moved closer to them. The Baudelaire's had a good look of you now as Klaus was impressed by your skills. – "How... how is it that you know us?" – Violet asked you as you turned your attention to her.

"Everyone knows you, Baudelaire's. we have been watching you for a long time!" - you replied as Klaus admired your red sailor's outfit. – "May we speak to the captain please! We have to explain a few things?" – Violet responded as you inhaled deep, making your chest wider as you smiled proud at them. – "Present!" – Violet looked confused at her siblings as Sunny pointed at you and called out 'Captain!"

"Wait... you ... you are the captain?" – Violet called out confused as she couldn't believe it. – "Yes! Don't you believe a girl can be a captain, Baudelaire's?" – you replied a bit angry that they didn't believe that you could be the captain. – "Of course... not..." – Violet stuttered as she didn't want to get crossed with you. – "Where is your crew?" – Klaus asked you as you suddenly looked down and traced circles with your finger on the paper that laid on the table. – "We hadn't had the easiest destination..." – you replied soft as Klaus felt stupid for ever asking that question. – "I'm sorry... uhm... we don't know your name yet?" – Klaus asked you as you lifted your head and looked a bit ashamed at them. With all the excitement you completely forgot to introduce yourself.
