As soon as the hatch of the jet opened, Clara could tell that the kingdom of Wakanda was getting ready for this giant battle they were going to fight. Guards and tribes were being organized into waves, weapons were being distributed, and everyone tried to stay as calm and collected as possible. Unlike the village she and Bucky stayed at, the sun shone brightly done on the kingdom.
"Ms. Peters. This way." A male guard in purple garments had his arm extended towards the palace. She looked back at Bucky, and he was being led in another direction. Having no other choice, and knowing that they had a limit on time, she followed the guard into the kingdom. She silently followed the guard down hallways and even in a few elevators until she found herself in a different looking hallway. It had spray paint designs on all the walls to where you couldn't even tell what the original color of the wall was.
"Ahhh, there's the wolf girl!" Clara was spooked when she heard a voice behind her, but was excited to see that it was Shuri. She had her hair up and she was wearing an orange dress.
"Hey Shuri! It's been awhile! I just wish we didn't have to meet up due to a war." Shuri shrugged and walked right past her.
"Well, while you and your lover boy have been playing farm, I've been playing scientist. Follow me." She did the arm greeting with the guard that escorted Clara all the way down her, and the guard left without saying a word. Clara followed Shuri down the spray-painted hallway, and that hallways opened up into a huge room with lots of different technology. "Behold! My lab! I know, it's great. I'd give you a personal tour, but we are very short on time, and my brother wouldn't like me to waste time. Come here." Shuri waved her over to a mannequin with a gray jumpsuit. On the table next to it were fingerless gloves, and at the bottom of the mannequin stand were a pair of boots.
"Woah! Is that...is that for me?" Clara couldn't barely get the words out she was so shocked.
"Yup. All specially designed just for you. The jumpsuit itself is made from this special fabric. It is able to expand and stretch into any shape, and it was almost impossible to tear so..."
"So if I have to change into a wolf, I won't tear my clothes, and I wouldn't be naked if I change back! Shuri that's amazing!"
"I know it is. And the fabric is very comfortable, and when you, you know, go all beast mode, your fur will be able to pass through the fabric, almost as if your fur will be absorbing it. It will still be on you, but it will feel as if you have nothing on. Now these gloves—" she picked up the gloves and held them up. "—These gloves are made by the same fabric, so when your hands become paws, it will stretch into the shape of your paws, and they are fingerless for two reasons: One, so that when you become a wolf, or if you have to use your claws, you won't poke holes in it, and two, fingerless gloves are just much cooler looking. Now, finally we have the boots. They were very comfortable and easy to run in, but unfortunately, not tear proof. I have many pairs of these just so you can start off in them, but once you change, they tear, and I don't think the other side is going to pause so you can take off your beautifully designed boots. Fortunately, your suit covers the feet, so you won't be completely barefoot. Voila!" Clara observed her new uniform.
"It's...it's amazing! Really, this all so much! Just when I think you've done enough for me, you go and do ever more." Clara lifted her hand and was about to touch her suit,
But Shuri put her hand up."Nope, nope! This is a brand new, one of a kind suit, I'm not letting you touch it until you are clean. The others are said to be here in another forty-five minutes, so you have time to get yourself cleaned up and dressed. Come, I'll lead you to the showers."
