"Shirt off."

I'm terrified. All I can do is take it off. All of a sudden, I feel excruciating pain in my back. Whip after after whip, my vision starts to blur even more. 37 whips until I black out completely.

I wake up in the middle of the living room. I don't feel any pain, only a lite sore. I go upstairs to my room, not really feeling anything. I take a look on my scars, only to see that I didn't have any. Huh weird, I could have sworn I had many of them. If my 'dad' finds out, I'm in deep shit. I take a look at the clock- 11:53 pm. I suddenly yawn and change into pajamas. Once my head hits the pillow, I'm out like a light.

BEEP BEEP BEEP

I wake up to the sound of my annoying alarm clock.

I reluctantly get up and change into my clothes ( picture above ).

I go downstairs only to see my 'dad' reading the newspaper.

"Good Morning. I hope you slept well. " I cringe at at his tone. All menacing. I quickly eat a banana and go upstairs to brush my teeth. I grab my backpack and head downstairs, say goodbye, and leave.

Once I get to school, I see Christina talking to I think was Marlene.

"Hey guys." I say.

"Hello" they say in complete unison.
I silently laugh.
"Why'd you leave so abruptly yesterday?" Marlene asks me.
"Let's just say I didn't really like someone there." I say in a disgusted way.
"Ok then!" She says on a skeptical way.
"Let's get going to class. " Christina says trying to change the subject.
As we get going to class, Four stops us and smirks.
"Hello ladies what a lovely morning!" He exclaims in an oddly cheerful way.
"May I please talk to the lovely lad known as Tris?" Shit!
"Um no. " I say and walk away. Or at least try to until I feel my arm being yanked back.
"I never get a no." He says as I'm being dragged away into a school corner.
"I just found out what your hiding from all of us" he says, a smirk written across his face.
