Friday Afternoon,
Four pov.*bell rings*
I get my things and stand up from my desk. Tris and I head over to our lockers and dump our books in them.
"Are you ready for our lovely evening, madam?" I ask her.
She smiles.
"Of course I am, gentleman?" She says happily. I can tell she doesn't really know what word she was trying to say.
"Shall we?" I ask, extending my arm.
"We shall." she replies giggling.
We start walking towards my car. When we get there, I open the door for Tris, making her blush slightly. She looks so adorable.
"Thank you." I hear her say softly.
"No problem." I say, grinning at her.
The car ride was spent in silence, not an awkward, uncomfortable silence, but more of a comfortable silence.
The car ride was about 5 minutes. Once I park, Tris and I get out of the car. I hold out my arm, and to my surprise, she linked my arm with hers. The ice cream store is named D-lights. I love this place.
"Hurry up!" She says pulling my arm. I let out a chuckle, I guess she really wants ice cream.
I struggle to keep up with her. This girl is really fast!
"Tris, slow down." I tell her.
"We're almost there, come on, let's go!" She says pulling my arm even harder.
"Finally!" I say as we reach the shop.
No one was there, so we didn't have to wait in line.
"Hi, can I have a chocolate - vanilla swirl in a cone, please? Oh and don't let her pay." I say to the lady in the cashier, whispering the last part while handing her 20 dollars.
"Okay that will be right up. And you ma'am?" She says staring at me in a flirty way.
"I'll have the same thing, in a cone also. Please." Says Tris in an irritated tone. She clearly didn't like the new girls attention.
"That'll be right up." She said.
"Isn't she gonna ask for the money?" I hear Tris mumble behind me.
I'm totally screwed.
Once realization crosses her mind, she looks at me. "Four? Did you pay?" She asks in a deadly tone.
"Maybe?" I try to say, but it comes out more as a question than an answer.
After a couple of minutes, our ice creams were ready.
"I told you I would hurt you if you payed." Tris said beside me, giving me a glare. Let me tell you, she looked hot when she was mad.
I don't know how, but suddenly my confidence spiked up a bit, and I did something I never imagined me doing, I lean down to match my mouth to her ear and whisper- "you look hot when you're mad."I straighten my body again, and I look down to see a blush on her face, making her look adorable.
"Thank you." I here her mumble shyly."Tris, would you like to go out with me some other time, to the movies maybe?" I ask nervously. My confidence strangely disappears as she says- "No no thank you, I'm good."
"What?" I say in disbelief. I don't want to sound rude or anything, but I've always had girls falling to their knees to be able to go on a date with me.
A giggle comes out of Tris's mouth.
"Of course I would like to go on a date with you! I was just kidding!" A laugh comes out of her mouth as soon as she says that. I then let out a shaky breath I didn't know j was holding."The only thing is, I can't this weekend, but I'm free next weekend." She says, a grin spreading across her face.
"That's okay with me, as long as I'll be able to spend some time with you." As soon as those words leave my mouth, a blush appears on her face. I don't know how, but my confidence just came surging back.
Wen we finished our ice-creams, we headed over to my car."Four?" I here Tris say.
"Yeah?"
"Can we go to 'The Pit'?"
"Yeah sure, I can't wait for you to meet Snow! Oh yeah I'm sorry, you don't know. For some reason, each person of the gang named an animal that was attracted to them in 'The Pit'. Mine was a wolf. I don't know how, but the name Snow occurred to me like a voice in my head, and u named her that. But anyways, you have to see her!" I say enthusiastically.
As soon as I finish, I look over to see her smile fade, a scared emotion struck on her face.
"Tris sweetheart, are you ok?" The second I say that, she brightens up, and says-" you just called me sweetheart." A blush forces it's way, making her look more adorable than ever.
"I did, didn't I, sweetheart?" I say in her ear. She turns to look at me, and our faces are inches apart, making it a perfect distance to kiss.
The confidence starts coming back, and I lean in. I half expected her to pull away, but she just leaned in closer.Just when we're about to kiss, a car honks behind us, making us jump apart. I noticed we were in a red light, amid it just turned green. I look over to see her face, only to see her blushing. Damn this girl blushes a lot- I love it.
Since I was driving, I didn't notice what she did until she did it, she kissed my cheek, but not quickly, her lips lingered on my cheek, making me sigh out in pleasure.
"I take it you liked that." She says seducily in my ear. I turn to look at her, wanting to savor her features, but instead of seeing her grey/blue eyes, pitch black eyes stare back at me, frightening me a bit.
"Tris, what's wrong with your eyes?"
