Some words without a main objective, and without great expectations, but with one purpose: to feed my creative thirst after getting to know this shipp.

Plus: Readers who love Maya and Carina as much as I do and that want to embark on these daydreams.

  - Thoughts emits brain waves.  Among them, the alpha frequency type is considered the most suitable for... - The lecture orchestrator spoke, but Maya was no longer hearing. She was lost inside a mess of thoughts in her own head.  Again and again.  So much that they managed to make her dizzy.

She no longer knew what she had gone do there.  By influence and to keep her roommate company seemed like a good guess, but deep down she knew it wasn't just that.

That subject started to get her interest since hearing Carina honking in her ear so much about that, in the rare breaks when they could be together at home and that they really interacted, since Bishop was quite difficult when it came to relating to other people.  And that was exactly why she had come here, besides the gorgeous Italian woman, of course.

Maya recognized that maybe she was not well, mentally speaking and maybe she needed help.  That couldn't come in the traditional way.  Not after she took command of station 19. A captain couldn't show any reluctance or weakness.  She would have to do it herself.

A tall, slender obstetrician who had been venturing into the studies of the mind for a few months, approaches when the lecture is over.  The new focus of interest in mental studies was another point that made them have little time together.  Even though, friendship and partnership had settled there.  And the software was frequently updated, fortifying both their systems.

- So?  – The Italian asks while linking her arm to the captain's as they walked out of the large conference hall – What did you think?  Was it Worthy?  - She asks with his drawling accent.

- It was interesting.

- At what points exactly?

- Up to a point where all this talk left me starving - Maya opens up a weak and a little guilty smile - Shall we have lunch?  I pay.

- Maya!  – Exclaims incredulously – ragazza sciocca.  (N/A: silly girl)

- I'll still learn to translate what you say.

- And I'll still find a new friend as obsessed with psychology as I am and abandon you.

Maya laughs and Carina feels happy just to hear her.  It was nice to see her so soft.

The blonde undoes the link of her arms as they had reached her car.

- Even if I had time for it.  We live together.  I'll always be there to your misfortune - Jokes before entering the vehicle.

Carina repeats the action, leaving the provocation besides.

She had lived with Maya for nearly five months now.  Months of a tough year.  Where her world had fallen apart and she never imagined that meeting a girl in a bar would change her life so much.  The firefighter had no idea, but she played a key role in her happiness.

Flashback on

She was coming off the end of another day of work at the Grey Sloan.  She stares at the wet sidewalk, coming across Andrea on his motorcycle.  When the man sees her, he closes the glass of his helmet and leaves immediately.  The relationship between them had been strained since their mother had died of an aggressive cancer, one of woman's last requests was to Carina to go to Italy, where the mom had returned to live her last days, and keep that secret, in order to protect her son. Untill it was too late and the end was inevitable.
