- Here - Hands the scribbled agenda to the other - I've listed nine personality types and some of the characteristics attached to them.  I want you to read and try to identify yourself in one or more.  No idealization, just reality, okay?  – She spoke hurriedly, while straightening her clothes and the bag on her shoulder – I have to go now.  Do we still see each other today?

- I have no idea, but I will analyze it carefully and give you a feedback as soon as possible – Maya smiled at the happy doctor in front of her.  Carina was really excited about those “classes”.

Maya, on the other hand, carried a tinge of hesitation.

(...)

In the first week of the “study” they were still at square one.  Maya didn't even have time to open the diary that had been forgotten on her desk until next Monday arrived.  Everything was relatively calm at her work, so she allowed herself the luxury of a break.

She had completed the mission given to her by the doctor, very quickly in her conception.

She was eager to present her conclusions.

(...)

Carina was sitting on the couch while she had the diary in her hands and Maya's watchful eye on her, sitting next to her.

- You chose... - Carina starts leaving the question in the air.

- None – Responds – I don't fit in any of these.

- Okay - Returns amid an incredulous laugh - And could you tell me why?

- All of these have some fail.  Some absence and my childhood was just filled with everything you can imagine.  There was no time to feel the absence of anything.

Carina bites her cheek and nods her head.

- So you're trying to tell me you're perfect or that you're a robot?

Maya stares at her confused.

- It's not like that...

- There are motivations that lead us to act the way we do.  And they come from within.  Of unmet needs.  One foul.  A part that had been neglected in childhood.  It's humanly impossible that you haven't had one.

Maya now felt foolish under the face of the bored look Carina was giving her.

- Can I try again?

- Yes. But first, I have another exercise for you.  I want you to describe your story to me.  What is Maya Bishop's story?

- Well - I laughed nervously - You don't expect me to remember...

- Who did you live with?

- With my parents.

- What was your house like?

- Cozy.

- Did you have siblings? - Asks - Even though she knew the answer – How was your relationship?

There appeared the first lapse.

- A brother.  We supported each other in everything.

Maya was one of the only ones who supported him in his choices.

- How was the relationship of your parents and of your parents with you both?

More lapses.

The blonde felt like she was watching a movie.  How to describe her parents?  Did the mother almost always accept what the man thought was right and how could she describe his father?  Dedicated?  Yes. A man dedicated to his family and who valued his family as he did when he was concerned about Maya's diet, and re-recorded it, so that she would have a good performance in training and be the best in the sport she practiced.  When he taught her to be disciplined and train hard so she could reach the podium.  And to be always the best.  That's how he dedicated himself and showed that he loved her. Right?!

Without noticing a single tear made its way down Maya's face.

- Maya...

She lifts her eyes to meet Carina's light brown eyes who was looking at her with concern.  An overwhelming feeling takes over her chest and the urge to cry increases.

-This is useless – she wipes one of her tears angrily and stands up – This… It's useless – she repeats with a shaky voice and runs off towards her room.

Carina closes her eyes tightly.

Time.

Getting to know yourself used to take time and acceptance and patience.
