I woke up the next day, nearly hanging off the bed with my light blue blanket on me. The one thing I gave up with living in seabrook was having my room the way I wanted it but it grew on me slowly but surely. I put on what I normally would for school on a normal day where it wasn't too hot or too cold in weather ways, which is black combat trousers and a leather black strapped crop top, even though the bandages were still around my stomach. I also put on my leather boots, I chuckled on my red denim jacke and plaited my still, medium length hair into French braids again so my ginger locks weren't as noticeable. Ginger wasn't always a natural hair colour in seabrook for some reason but I pulled it off and rocked a lot of hair styles which suited me, this being one of the many. Addison suddenly called me down and I grabbed a cereal bar as we walked out the door. We did walk to school in silence as we were both thinking of what to do about this whole anti- monster law coming back in. We both saw it as unfair as I know my parents are only trying to protect us but this was not the way to do it because Addison dates a zombie and my true love is meant to be my mate so this was the worst thing to happen for it all to be resolved. I wanted to go and find my mate properly but I was just so scared of the forest but if I'd have to go in then I would. My thoughts we suddenly stopped when We met up with Zed and Addison started the conversation that him and Addison were both thinking
"I really thought we'd all be at the prawn together, I thought we'd all be at the prawn together, I thought seabrook had changed" Addison sighed and I put a comforting hand on her shoulder which she smiled at me for
"It did believe me I will find us a way to get us to the prawn" Zed argued and I smiled at him. Him and I both knew it was Addison's dream to go to the prawn and Zed wanted to take her so badly
"Or we could miss it together" she suggested as an alternative as an alternative and Zed shook his head
"I'm not letting you miss the prawn" he argued back
"If you can't go I'm not going" she snapped back and I looked at them both, oh what a perfect couple
"Well I like you too much not to let you go" he said back sassily
"Well I like you too much to leave you behind so I'm not going" she said back with just as much sass. Eliza walked up to us and I gasped
"Oh thank god my saviour" I said while jumping into her arms, bridal style while she laughed
"You pair even fight like a perfect couple" she commented and I nodded rapidly which made Addison laugh at me
"How's it going Eliza?" Addison asked her
"Oh you know fighting for justice is keeping me busy" she said while still holding onto me. Me and Eliza got on because we both had the same amount of sass and we appreciated each other for it "and looking good doing it zombae" Addison joked and they did their little thing while I laughed at how my sister could be sometimes
"Addison, Darcey" we heard our names be called in a loud voice and we saw Bucky
"Time to officially announce me as president" he said while walking across and I shook my And then the aceys turned up behind us
"Uh Addison, when we win cheer captain you're so off the team" they said and I rolled my wrist around which in a sense activated my powers but Zed put his arm across and shook his head
"And when I win cheer captain you'll be welcome to stay because I'll be making cheer about bringing people together" she said but they didn't look impressed by the trash talk she said back
"That was awful trash talk" Stacey said while giving a smile, thinking that they had won
"I know right you'll never be cheer captain since you and your sister are both freaks" they said while I glared at them, red mist swirling my hands as people moved out of my way but little did I know that from a vent my mate was watching me.
Wyatt's P.O.V
I stared at her through the vent, smiling as I saw that she was protecting the girl with white hair that we believed to be the great alpha
"Even after all these years, you are still obsessed with her" Willa whispered to me as I turned back to her for a moment
"So what, she is my mate. She has the red mist, all the others have purple, blue or green" I explained while she started chuckling slightly, patting my shoulder
"We met her in the forest all that time ago Wyatt, she probably doesn't even remember us and there might be another child with red powers and the one we met in the forest is not her" she said while pointing at her
"I know it's her" I said surely
"And how's that so?" She asked curiously and I pointed at the girls hand, which now didn't hold any mist, which we all saw a large scar on her left hand
"That scar was there when we first met her" I explained while Willa looked at me so when I looked at her, she was smiling widely so I started to look confused
"What is it?" I asked her while she continued to smile at me
"You really love her that much huh? I didn't have any doubt that it was here I just wanted to test you" she said playfully as I punched her arm lightly while also smiling as we continued to wait in the vent until the time was right and the halls were empty
