Ainz the hero (Overlord x rising of the shield hero)

Btw I know his name is Suzuki Satoru in IRL and his original avatar name is momonga but I'm gonna just call him ainz so I don't have to switch

AINZ POV:

Ainz is sitting in a chair at a round table alone on the last night that the VRMMO Yggdrasil that has been running for 12 years now is shutting down for good. It was currently 11:24 and ainz was losing hope that anyone would come back for the final moments. Ainz then got a message at the corner of his screen that herohero joined the game and ainz immediately perks up at this, he sees herohero load in on the chair sitting across from him. Herohero is a purple slime monster with glowing yellow eyes and a disfigured gooey face.

Herohero: "hey there, it's been a long time, momonga-san."

Ainz: "I honestly didn't think you would come, herohero-san. It's been about two years, hasn't it?"

Herohero: "it's been that long? This is bad. I've been doing so much overtime lately that my concept of time is messing up. My body is completely worn out I feel like how my character looks, oh I'm sorry, I didn't just come here to complain

Ainz: "no it's fine please don't worry about it" ainz then has a happy face emoji pop up on the side of his head

Herohero: "Oh I have to go soon, I'm way too sleepy.

Ainz: "oh, please rest well" ainz was sad about this because herohero had just come back and is already leaving him

Herohero: "I'm really sorry about this. But, I'm really surprised that the great tomb of nazarick is still here. You must have been maintaining it as the guild leader, momonga-san"

Ainz: "Well, nazarick was the base of operations for our guild that we all build together after all. I couldn't just let it be destroyed."

Herohero: "momonga-san, thank you for all your hard work. I hope we meet again in IRL someday" he then logs out with a blue light.

「Herohero has logged out」

Ainz: 'why didn't he stay until the end? It's the last day Yggdrasil will be running. No, I'm happy he even came to say goodbye. "I hope we meet again somewhere" huh? Just where and when would that be?' ainz then slams his fist onto the table "Dammit!" 'this is the great tomb of nazarick that we built together! How can they give it up so easily?! ....no, that's not it. No one betrayed me. Eventually, everyone including me has to return to IRL at some point.' ainz then walks over to a staff on a pedestal.' 'the staff of ainz ooal gown. We grinded recklessly to obtain it. Some members even used their vacation money and others fought with their wives to make time and get the materials for this. Among the 41 members of ainz of gown, 37 of them quit.' Ainz then picks up the staff from the pedestal, 'there are two requirements to join the guild of ainz ooal gown. First, you must be a contributing member of society. And second, your character must be a nonhuman race.' ainz then walks down some stairs and sees the battle Pleiades and sebas tian. The battle maids were meant to be a last line of defense against anyone that came to the 9th floor of nazirick. 'Hmm, maybe ill look in the library to something to read while I wait for the servers to shut down' ainz walks through the tomb and arrives at the library. "Hmmm what to read what to read" he starts to look through the books until he spots a book he's never seen before "the four cardinal hero's huh? never seen this book in here before." ainz then reads a little of it and is a little interested "so it's about four heroes who have to save the world with special weapons and have to defeat these things called "the waves" seems honestly kind of interesting ill look it up when the servers shut down but for now I might as well start it so I can get a feel for the story." unfortunately ainz didn't realize that it was already 11:59 and then as soon as it struck 12:00 the book started glowing yellow light.

Ainz: "Huh?!?! What is happening!?!" ainz shielded his eyes (oh wait he doesn't have any YOHOHOHO SKULL JOKE). When he opened his eyes he was standing in a magic circle with 4 other people. Then a few people in robes come up to them.

Guy in robes: "O brave heroes, please save our world!"

Guy with a shield: "seriously?"

Guy with a bow: "what do you mean by that?"

Guy in robes: "there is a long and complicated story behind this, but we've summoned you, four cardinal heroes, here using an ancient ritual."

AInz: while the guy in robes was explaining this ainz was deep in thought '...... WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING?!?!?' then a green light enveloped him and he calmed down 'alright calm down Satoru think this through you were reading that book and then when it hit midnight the book started glowing and then I was here' he then looked at the window behind him and realized that he was in the body of his avatar and he still had the staff of ainz ooal gown with him but he didn't have his cloak with him and looked like a regular undead. 'Is this a dream did I somehow fall asleep when the servers shut down, no this feels far too real to be a dream then that must mean I've really been transported as momonga then' ainz comes out of his thoughts when the robe guys speaks.

Robe in robes: "first we'd like all 5 of you to have an audience with the king of our country, Melromarc.

Guy with a spear: "the 5 of us I only see 4" he then looks back and then sees a 5ft 10-inch undead with red eyes staring at him "AHH what the hell how did an undead get here?!"

Ainz: "wait I was also transported here too"

Guy with a spear: "oh really ok then"

Guy in robes: "If we are done then I would like for all of you to come with me"
