Chapter 10 - Last Kiss Goodbye

Evilyn stormed towards Mr. Lordi in her wedding dress with anger and rage building up inside her and bursting out,

"HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME!?!!?!?" she yelled,

Mr. Lordi went silent. Evilyn was hot-tempered without a doubt. "You are not the right one and you never will be. That is all I can say," he replied calmly not wishing to get into a fight with her once again as he stepped away from her.

Evilyn had angry tears in her eyes, "You are not going anywhere! Not without me!"

"You have no choice. This love is something you cannot share with me because my feelings are not mutual. I cannot love someone as twisted as you are," Mr. Lordi said,

Evilyn growled angrily as if her heart was about to shatter.

"I will not accept this! Get up my children! Destroy them!"

No demons rose to fight,

"You are defeated Evilyn. Leave us in peace," Mr. Lordi demanded.

Evilyn did not listen, and she grew angrier inside as lightning bolts began to surround her and soon she was enveloped inside a ball of lightning.

"NO!" she screamed and let out a powerful shockwave that sent Mr. Lordi and the others flying backwards. Mr. Lordi quickly got to his feet, and now he could feel he was angrier inside. He stepped forward and felt a power building up inside him. A power that he had not unleashed since the day of that blizzard in Lapland centuries ago.

Suddenly, Mr. Lordi found himself in another flashback of his entire life right before his eyes as his rage began to build. He saw himself as a child surrounded by madness as demons, goblins and trolls were battling right in front of him and there was nothing he could do to stop them. The sounds of death cries were heard as something was attacked and slaughtered in one place and then another. Soon time went forward and Mr. Lordi saw himself surrounded by fleeing enemies where he was scaring them away as if everyone had suddenly grown to fear him for the powers he had found inside of him. Then he was running deep into Lapland alone in fear of what he had done. Centuries went by as he was growing up and being raised by his old friends, learning his supernatural powers, and travelling through time to find his allies. The rest of the events of his life he felt as if they went by so fast that now it was already a time where he was being threatened once again.

Mr. Lordi snapped out of the flashback to once again look at Evilyn and he was about to become outraged. She cannot do this to me and I will never be hers. He thought, as this great power from his body and soul was beginning to emerge.

Then out of nowhere, Mr. Lordi found himself surrounded in complete darkness as if he was being swallowed by a black hole in outer space. But it was not darkness that was devouring him. It was darkness that was coming from his body like an explosion. The dark circle expanded even more and began to rotate like a swirling vortex as it grew larger and larger by the minute. Mr. Lordi's wings expanded as he let all his rage out instantly and the vortex let out a large shockwave that sent Evilyn flying back all the way to the edge of the meadow. Evilyn groaned in pain.

"This power, impossible! He should not know how to use it at all!" she yelled as the darkness covered the entire meadow and soon the sky had turned black.

Mr. Lordi soon realized that his prediction was right. This was the exact same power that he had used earlier only this time he felt like he had more control over it as if it had finally begun to settle inside him. Mr. Lordi now felt like he was invincible but deep down he only wanted to use his power for good. I must not let this go to waste, he reminded himself and then he looked at Evilyn.

"So Evilyn do you still think that all this fighting is necessary? You cannot hope to accomplish everything this way!" he shouted

Evilyn growled again and got to her feet, "You will never find your one true love! Whoever she is, she will break your heart just like you broke mine!"

Mr. Lordi refused to believe her. "I believe my real one true love will be more beautiful and kind than you are! She will not break my heart!" and then his dark vortex expanded more as Evilyn approached him.

"I am not afraid of this power!" she contradicted as lightning began to burst out from her body.

The lightning bolts collided with Mr. Lordi's dark vortex causing Mr. Lordi to struggle in pushing the lightning away from him. He began gathering his inner strength and pushed even harder to keep Evilyn off of him.

Evilyn laughed, "You see Mr. Lordi; I have specialized in the power of electricity and thunderstorms since I was born. My father recognized this power in me and trained me how to use it before the first invasion in Lapland. I have grown to master it after the passing centuries and when my father was killed then I became strong enough to lead our race to victory!" she said as Mr. Lordi struggled to push the lightning bolts away.

He did not want to be considered weak, I must not fail, he told himself and then summoning all his strength; he let the vortex explode until the lightning bolts bounced off of it and hit the sky and the vortex sent Evilyn flying back once again to the edge of the meadow where she was hit hard against a tree. The darkness cleared up and the sky became normal again. Mr. Lordi's wings folded back into his cape.

"It is over, I have won," he said. Evilyn stood up again was limping as she walked towards Mr. Lordi with angry tears in her eyes. Mr. Lordi ignored her and walked towards his wounded allies and helped them up.

"Where do we go?" Kita asked.

"Anywhere but here. Somewhere deeper in Lapland, somewhere where they cannot find us until my one true love is found," Mr. Lordi said as his wings spread once again.

Suddenly Evilyn grabbed him from behind. "WAIT! DON'T GO!"

Mr. Lordi turned around.

Mr. Lordi looked at Evilyn with hatred and rage silently,

"I am begging you Mr. Lordi, bond with me......I know we can end this war together!" she bawled,

Mr. Lordi sighed. She is so immature, he thought as he tried to pull away from her.

Evilyn gazed into Mr. Lordi's eyes and her face came closer and closer until suddenly her lips met with his. She kissed him hard but almost passionately as if stinging his lips like demonic poison. Mr. Lordi did not respond. He did not close his eyes nor did he kiss her back. He had made a vow to not kiss anyone except his one true love and Evilyn would never be his one true love.

Rage built up inside him and finally he grabbed her arms and pushed her away hard knocking her to the ground.

"Get your hands off me Evilyn! You will never be the one for me!" He declared, and then his wings flapped and he took off into the sky while the others disappeared into the forest. Evilyn now found herself left alone in the meadow surrounded by her dead or wounded minions.

She stood up with clenched fists and watched angrily with tears as Mr. Lordi disappeared beyond the horizon. Her putrid heart was shattered.

"We will meet again one day Mr. Lordi! I shall return stronger than ever! I will find who your one true love is and destroy her and her people! I WILL HAVE MY REVENGE!"

Mr. Lordi heard what she had said but did not look back at her.
