CHAPTER 70- Last minute change

KEVIN'S POV

I cancelled all my appointments for a week, I had no choice but to go to my dad and explain to him what is happening, but I begged him not to tell my mom yet. He will gladly take over the company for as long as I need and I show him the pictures of the twins, He was teary eyed and was smiling the whole time, I suddenly grab my phone when mom suddenly came in "Why are you crying?" My mom came over my dad's side. "I was just telling dad that I think Cady already has delivered the baby by this time mom. Now it was her time to cry, she was sad and wanted to hold her grand kid. She was not aware that we had twins that is why she is still referring to my children as a singular. I told her I will be leaving for couple of days as I may have a lead on where Cady is. They hugged me and asked me to take care of myself.

I went home to meet the girls, they found an identical crib they arranged the nursery in blue and pink colors, they placed stickers on the wall, ANIKA AMANDA on one side and KALVIN NICOLAI on the other. They instructed Patricia to wash all the new clothes and placed them on the luggage that they had prepare to be brought tomorrow. They got them everything they need. When they left the house, I started packing we decided to leave tonight so we could discuss the plan with the authorities. I packed clothes for me and Cady, I cannot wait to see them and hugged them. I am just thankful that they will be with us soon. When we were about to take off, I got a call form little "There is a little change of plan, Ariza will be with them, take extra care." I told everyone about the change of plans, the girls will stay in the hotel and wait for us there same with Clark. It was a long flight, I kept staring at the picture of my 3 babies. Then I started to doze off.

ARTHUR'S POV

Mr. Gerardo the rival syndicate told me that Ariza is changing his mind about the meeting, he was asking to reschedule it after the trip to Hawaii, I persuaded him that if they postponed the ambush, they would never have another chance. I went to the room and created a distraction, I whispered to Cady's ear about the changes but assured her that everything will be ok. I packed my luggage and leave some of my stuff to assure Antonio that I will be coming back. I even got a dummy laptop the one that I will leave in the villa. Cady asked me to grab something for the kids, diaper, wipes, pacifier etc. then I saw this floaties that you place of your baby's neck, and a cute bikini and board shorts. I feel sadness while paying, I know they are not mine and they will never be, but I am glad to help Cady, she deserves to be happy, even if it means they will be with Kevin tomorrow. They belong with him; I would just pray that I will find someone to build a family with. But I will be happy knowing Cady has his forever. I know Evans will take good care of her.

CADY'S POV

I packed my things and the twins, I made sure I brough an anti-allergy medication with me, I need to give them a small dose so they would not fuzz while we are executing the plan. Since I do not have many clothes here I only brough few, everything fits in one suite case, I offered to pack Arthur's bag, but he declines. I wanted to borrow Arthur's phone, but we are being cautious, we know that the room is bugged, and we do not want Antonio to know the plan. I was about to go the kitchen when Arthur dragged me back to our room, we wake up the twins and whisper into my ear. "Antonio and Connie are coming with us; we need to be more careful" I nodded, and we went towards the cot, and I picked up Kalvin while he picks up Amanda. My mom and Antonio came in our room and ask what is wrong with the twins, I just made an excuse that they are being fuzzy because of the weather. "Good thing Art planned this trip; I think it's good for the babies to go to different environment. I agree with my mom and then I saw Antonio's reaction I think he was being suspicious. I told Arthur that we should bring the babies in the living room and my mom followed us.

After having lunch, I asked Arthur to grab somethings for the twins for their trip in Hawaii. He went back with this cute neck floaties and cute pink bikini and blue board shorts. My mom insisted that we should try it on the twins and take some pictures. Then Antonio arrives "change of plans we will follow you in Hawaii, I need to deal with something personally." My mom tried to argue with him, but he just ignores her. I excused myself and Arthur, I told them we need to finish packing for our flight tomorrow morning.
