"Sorry, I've never seen you before."
"Got any questions for me, or ya gonna sit there and eye-fuck me?" He asked.
"You a pro?" I asked after inhaling the smoke; blowing it out in rings.
"Nah." He said. He stood up and grabbed the box of cigarettes, taking a new one near the back. He got down on his knees and uncrossed my legs by keeping the cig in between his middle and ring finger. As he uncrossed my legs, I felt him grip at my thighs and rub a bit, the tug at my skin. His hand traveled from my left thigh to my right, the to my right legs knee. He pushed up and made me manspread in a way. He grabbed the top of my shin, pulling me back harshly behind my knee.
My dress slid up, my bare ass touching the cloudy blue and cold leather. He rubbed my thighs and got closer to my heat, the grabbed the almost finished cig from my mouth.
He put it on my thigh and lit it out on the side, causing me to hiss in pain. A good pain? Well, the burn was black and charcoal like, looking ugly.
He grabbed the new one and put it to my lips, rubbing and pinching my bottom one first before actually placing it. He grabbed the black lighter from the table and licked the part where fire came out. The flame, with a small spark, recognized the spit and lit. He pushed the lighter towards my lips and brushed his pinky to my chin. The flame made smoke come from the end of the cigarette.
"The ones from the back always taste the best." He told me, his husk voice almost matching Dabi's.
"Old lighter?" I asked, inhaling its nasty scent before holding it with my index and middle. He smiled, white teeth glowing n' pink lips soft, and grabbed my new cigarette and hit that as well. "Sure as hell, doll." He hummed out.
He stood up and handed it back to me casually, then strutted back to the position he was in earlier.
"Aren't you going to grab another one?" I asked. He nodded 'no'. "I've had my fill. You needed two because I could tell you were tired of seeing shirtless woman. And Dabi is dead so."
"Wow. Right out of the bat you just say it. Okay." I said, rubbing my cold knees with my hands after putting the cigarette down.
"Sorry, he told me that you would cope by now, before he died." Twice said.
" so he actually did know he was going to die?" I asked. I twiddled my thumbs a bit, then picked at my small nails.
"No. He didn't. We think he was brainwashed. That's what we both believe." He said.
We both sat there for around 30-ish seconds, just waiting for something to happen. He looked dissatisfied or some other emotion with 'dis' at the start.
"What about Toga? Was she brainwashed too?" I postulated. He nodded.
"No. She wasn't. She was just a victim of someone else's doing. But Dabi didn't start any of this." He relayed.
"How'd you find out about all of this?" I spoke.
"The crash site. Also, i was called by... Eraserhead, yeah, to help you figure out what happened."
"So we need to go there?"
"Yes. Indeed."
He stood up, yet again, and took off his black tux coat, shedding the high-ticket jacket and now walking around wearing barely anything. Black slacks and a black belt with a silver buckle, ones that matches his eyes. His shoes were simple dress shoes that were also black with silver stitching.
"But first, we need to stop at your bar." He said.
——
I pulled up to the small place, the yellow lights illuminating the bar and the street.
Shadows casted on the pavement as he and I stepped out. He grabbed my wrist and gently tugged on it, dragging me in a way, but still letting me walk.
"Key." He demanded.
I scoffed. "Okay fine. Key, please." I could hear him roll his eyes. "Better," I chirped.
He opened the door with the keys I gave him and then stepped inside, turning off most of the light, but the ones in the back, by most of the hard liquor.
"Nice place you've got here." He said, swinging the keys that open the bar and my apartment as well as my old car and newest few.
"Aren't you a car collector? For racing, I imagine?" He said, turning around. He slowly walked backwards, his heavy and fancy clogs hitting the floor.
"Uh yeah. Sure. Can we please just skip the small talk and get to the point?" I told him, getting in the bar and leaning on the surface.
He snickered. "What's the point?" He asked innocently.
" Why you're here? Why you'd even want to come here even though the deck was plenty quiet?" I relayed.
He smiled and rolled the jacket off of him and placing it like a napkin on his forearm. His sleeves then were pushed to his elbows before setting the coat down next to him, on the seat.
He stood up and smiled even bigger while he walked behind the counter.
He looked me up and down before bending down to get the beer from below. Just the ones in the bottle, not Pub.
I sighed and moved out of the way.
Tried to at least.
He grabbed my thigh and pulled me closer, his hands slowly making its way higher up the plush surface.
Clearly his hand wanted to find purchase somewhere, but he knew he couldn't.
I grabbed his hand and took it off of me. He looked up towards me, but not directly in my eyes. He looked at my chest and then my collarbone.
He stood up and handed me a beer, now looking at me. I have a small 'thanks' before cracking it open with a bottle opener. He did the same, but looked at me while doing it. And while drinking his first sip.
I smiled and set mine down.
He looked at me and stood a little closer for each time as we talked about racing and about the crash.
I noticed how each time he got closer, he would touch me more.
Then, he grabbed my hips and pushed up and in, now bearing my weight and pulling me to the edge of the wooden sleek countertops.
"Okay. You are getting way too close for comfort, Jin." I let down.
He nodded but still didn't move out of the way so I could hop off the counter.
"God, what are you even doing?!" I questioned.
"My...favorite party trick, doll. same here."
