'This villain.. This crazy villain!'

My eyes rested on his face, then I carefully examined this person's athletic build. Seconds later, I heard something clicked, blood started rushing into my head.

(Please be advised: the next words contains a series of cursing): 'This motherf*cker! Son of a *beep! Bast*beep! Stup*beep*beep*beep***_ Someone, hurry, give me a gun!''

Li Nian was the leader of the bandits! No, he's just a fake bandit. Recalling how I almost sh*t my skirt that day, my nose directly flared. I wanted to attack him like a raging bull.

'How did I get myself involved with another psycho this early?' *crying emoticon* 'This poor villainess! I'm so pitiful.'

He tried to kidnap me? I mean.. why me? I'm not the female lead. But when I asked him, Li Nian answered mysteriously: "Oh, I'm just collecting datas."

Are you.. freaking kidding me?! "Datas..?" I angrily took back my hand from his.

"Angry?" Li Nian laughed.

"I wouldn't dare."

'Agh! Just once.. I wanna punch him! Please, let me punch him.'

"I hope there would be no next time, Your Highness."

He stopped kneeling and stood up. "But.. it's interesting to watch, my lady. Witnessing my nephew losing his mind and calm self together.. for a woman was indeed a rare sight."

Li Nian covered his mouth with the back of his hand, suppressing a laugh. "My lady must really have a special place in his black heart."

I smiled in a very fake way. I might as well sign my death wish. In my heart, I glared at the villain. 'Please stop saying such terrifying things!'

Two days later, it's time for the next plot.

Nan King was still quietly recuperating. They said, he's having another fight with death. The public were curious, how godlike or how immortal is he?

The Duke of Hebei: known as best friend and ally of the fourth prince, would be the biggest contender to the throne if Nan King died. Thus, many palace ministers were trying to gain the favor of the Duke of Hebei.

And there was another rumor that involves the Left Prime Minister House. Now that, Nan King's life and death is uncertain. It says: the Bai Family already agreed to let their eldest daughter Bai Suxin, who also known as the fourth prince flower– to marry the Duke of Hebei.

My new servants, General Ming (one of the fourth prince ally) and the stubborn Jin'er followed closely behind me.

I even warned her, not just her tongue, she might also lose her life if she continue staying with me. And Jin'er.. she.. ignored my words and begged me to take her back.

Unlike the other servants, my loyal personal maid was literate. I heard Jin'er came from a fallen scholar family from Jinling Province so she knew how to read and write. I'm embarrassed as her master. Her calligraphy was much better than mine. She even learned güqìn just by watching me during my music class. I must say, Jin'er was a talented girl.

'My lovable servant, the pretty Jin'er. Please, forgive me.'

"I don't blame you my lady. So please forgive yourself. Your kindness and sympathy to this mere slave, I know I don't deserve it. I am lucky, not everyone can have a good master like you. I am grateful 'cause I am blessed. My lady, thank you for treating me as your friend and sister. Thank you for protecting this lowlife of mine. So please, allow me.. to also protect you my lady. I want to stay with you. Just like when we're kids, protect you and help you fight for the things you want."

After reading her letter, my tears spilled from my eyes. I.. really don't know what to do with her. I'm not even the real Bai Suxin.

Through the trees, the wind sighed with me.

My eyes squinted; our steps halted, I waited for that person to get near us. I peeked at Jin'er, just like I thought. Her face was all crumpled; she didn't even bother hiding her disgust to the beautiful Lady Chu.

Ahg! I really don't like these face-slapping scene in the novel.

The female lead has no makeup on and she's wearing a man's clothes. The character setting of the female lead were like this. She likes adventures. Likes to disguise herself as a man.

'Are they blind? Oh, they must be.'

Chu Wanwan was too beautiful. I can't believe that she can fool everyone in this phony get-up. She never look like a man! Haler, there's no apparent Adam's apple at all.

"What is she doing here? She can't be here."

"His Highness Nan King has requested Lady Bai to visit the prince. My lady is a special guest of Nan King." General Ming answered.

Stop saying the word 'special' people. It's giving this villainess a whole another level of goosebumps!

I planned to ignore the female lead, so I stepped to the other side.

"Why now? For days, Han have waited for you but you never came. So why now?" To my surprise, Chu Wanwan grabbed my arm, her scrutinizing eyes scaring me.

"You.. don't deserve his heart. He's suffering but you are never there. You have already forsaken him. I'm warning you to stop playing with his heart."

I showed an obvious faked sad expression. "What do you mean? It also pains me to think of him.. suffering."

"Stop pretending."

My expression changed into sneer. "I'm curious though. How does it feel watching the man you love longingly wait for another woman?"

Her expression became uglier and frightening. "You—..."

I giggled. "Now please Lady Chu, unhand me."

'Mom! She'll break my arm at this state! I swear, she must be Hercules— the girl version! Let go, female lead-sama. I'm begging you. It hurts! My poor stick arm.. Someone, save my arm! I still need it.'

The tone of my voice changed; firmed and cold, intimidating and merciless: "His Highness Nan King is still waiting for me. I.. advised you to let go, now."
