Chapter 21

Jesse POV

"Today is the day you go home, Mrs Swanson!" The doctor walked in and announced.

"That's great, I'm looking foward to being back at home." Beca replied. I look over at our squirming babies. Twins. Who would've thought.

"We just found the cutest outfits for Riley and Asher!" Stacie squealed as her, Ember, Amali and Bella walked in with bags in their hands.

"Shopping was a nightmare!" Amali signed. I chuckled.

"But look at the cute outfits I bought for the new twins!" Stacie pulled out two pairs of pyjamas, both with sheeps, but different colour pants. Beca started laughing. Then Bella pulled out two beanies. Minion beanies. I lost my shit laughing.

"They're adorable!" Beca said accepting the gifts.

"And look who I called!" Stacie said as Cynthia-Rose, Danni, Lilly, Chloe, Benji, Aubrey and Fat Patrcia walked in, holding gifts. I was pushed out of the way as everyone went to greet Beca and I noticed Aubrey.

"Aubrey, hi." I said as she pulled away from the small crowd.

"Jesse, long time no see." Aubrey hugged me.

"I hope there's no more bad blood between us-"

"Its in the past. It's been over a decade. And besides I am married now and I have 2 kids. Kelly and Hannah, Kelly's 4 and Hannah's 8." Aubrey explained.

"Congratulations! I mean, it's a little belated, but I'm glad you moved on."

"Yeah, and congratulations to you, three beautiful kids now."

"Yeah, gonna need a bigger house soon." I laughed. Chloe jumped onto me and pecked my cheek.

"Congratulations!" She said, as her bright and bubbly self.

"Oh my god, hey! How are you going?"

"I'm great, I'm going really good."

"Well, good for you then!"

Chloe smiled and turned to face Beca. She gestured as if to say, 'hug?'. Bella leant up and hugged Chloe.

"It's so great to see you again." Beca confessed.

"Where are those little munchkins at?" Chloe asked. Beca pointed over to them.

"The boy is Riley Dylan and the girl is Asher Lee." Beca explained. I handed her her bag with clothes and hairbrush and makeup and all the other things she thought were 'essential' to take with us to the hospital.

"You should go get changed and I'll go say hello to everyone." I said. Beca got up and kissed me before taking the bag into the bathroom. I walked over to Patricia and held out my hand.

"Nice to see you again." I said.

"A handshake? Come here you!" She pulled me into a very tight hug. "How's stuff going for yous?"

"It's going great, obviously we just had the two newbies but we also have a 16 year old. Bella?" I called. Bella spun around and walked over to me.

"Yeah dad?"

"This is one of the people me and your mum went to school with, Patricia, Bella, Bella, Patricia." I introduced them.

"I'm Bella." She held out her hand.

"Call me Fat Pat." Patricia held out her hand.

Beca walked out of the bathroom looking just as stunning as when I first met her. Messy hair, a baggy jumper and black leggings with no makeup and she still managed to look amazing.

LATER THAT DAY, AROUND 10PM.

Beca POV

I finally got Asher asleep. Bella go have a shower, you smell." I joked. Bella shoved my shoulder.

"Fight me." I said standing on my tippy toes. I only just got to be as tall as her.

"Mum you'd just embarrass yourself." She said squashing my head down with her hand.

"Go have a shower stinky ass." Jesse said before taking my hand.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

"Come on I have to show you something." He kept walking until we got to the back door. He opened it carefully and a candle lit table with a bunch of roses was on it. I walked over to it and picked up the card.

You're an awesome mummy.

"Oh my god Jes, this is so sweet." I turned around and kissed him. I turned back around and looked out at the starry sky. Jesse put his arms around me and kissed my head.

"Jesse?" I said.

"Yeah Becs?"

"We're gonna be forever, right?"

"Forever." He said. Forever.

"I love you Jesse."

"I love you too Beca."
