Beca POV

I heard a knock on the door and rushed over. I opened it to see Amali, Ember and Bella.

"How was school girls?" I asked and signed as they walked in and dropped their bags down.

"Crap. We are getting four new teachers and I hate all of them." Amali signed.

"Oh that sucks. But don't you get fitted for a new hearing aid tomorrow? That should be cool, right?" I asked her.

"I guess. I just don't want to change teachers because that means classes change around and that means that I won't be in any classes with Rayne, you know my best friend Rayne, right?"

"Yeah we met when you guys had a sleepover here. I'm sure the new teachers won't be that bad Amali, keep your spirits up."

"Whatever you say Aunt Beca. Where's Uncle Jesse?" I pointed to the loungeroom and gave Bella a hug.

"How about you, how was your day at school?" I asked Bella. She giggled and blushed.

"A boy asked me out." She said smiling.

"Who is this 'boy'?" I asked with a stern face.

"Its the footballer Eli, cause me and Ember are actually cheerleaders now we get to hang out with the cool group."

"So did you say yes?" I asked eagerly.

"Yeah of course I did, NOBODY turns down Elijah James." I smiled as she walked off with Ember. My face then drooped as I saw Amali. She loved hanging out with Jesse, but I felt like she only did it so much because Ember and Bella go off and talk about boys and fashion and hair and they tend to leave her out. I know what its like to be pushed out of the group of girls, I only ever had music-geek guy friends and maybe one girl friend. I always felt like I was never going to be accepted into the 'girly' groups so thats why I never bothered trying.

"Becs, we're going to play Grand Theft Auto, you wanna play?" Amali asked. She always felt comfortable around Jesse since she was young, he was the quickest out of me, Stacie, Donald and himself to learn ASL. (American Sign Language). Jesse basically taught Amali ASL.

I shook my head and signed;

"I think I'll pass this time."

I walked out of the room to go check on Ember and Bella. I walked in to see Ember braiding Bella's hair.

"Oh my god, you're both exactly like Stacie."

"That reminds me, I need to do my roots. Can you get me some dye and do it tomorrow?" Bella asked.

"Yep, exactly like Stacie." I chuckled.
