i saw the doorknob of my bathroom slowly turning. i backed up slowly. she opened the door slowly and slowly peaked her head out of the door. i back up more and put my hands up. she slowly opens the door until it's all the way open.

she makes her way to the bed slowly and i grabbed my gaming chair. i pulled it up so i was 3 feet away from her. she kept looking at the floor. i was trying to collect my thoughts to make sure nothing came out wrong.

"well are you gonna tell me what happened or not?" she said in a nervous but annoyed tone.

"yeah of course. um i'll start at the beginning when i first saw you." i took a deep breathe in to prepare myself. here goes nothing.

"i was at the kitchen grabbing another drink when i saw you at the couch near the stairs. i thought you were beautiful and decided to come talk to you. as i started to make my way to you a guy came and sat next to you. he put his arm around you and that's when i realized he was your boyfriend. he looked drunk and you looked uncomfortable but i didn't think anything of it. i went back to the kitchen and then just went around hanging out with people. a couple hours go by and i hear a man screaming. i look and see him in your face screaming while you sit there with tears in your eyes. he grabs his stuff and leaves. i didn't do anything yet because i didn't want you to get the wrong idea. harley and alec left like 30 minutes later and you said you would wait for josh to come back so you could go home. you walked upstairs to my room and i followed you a couple minutes later and found you on my bed crying. your dress was ruined. i asked if you wanted help and you said you needed new clothes. you took off all of your clothes and i put them in the washer. when i can back you were asleep. i didn't want to wake you so i left you the way you were. i stayed up to dry your clothes."

she stared at the floor the whole time. she looked up at me and i saw a tear fall down her cheek. she wiped it away real quick and took a deep breathe. she sat there in silence for a couple more minutes before she finally spoke.

"i'm sorry. he does this a lot. i just thought he would be better about it. i'll talk to him about it" after she spoke she started to cry. i didn't know whether to hug her or not. i stood up and walked towards her.
