lane i laid in bed scrolling through my phone. it was 12:00 pm. i had not done anything all day and i needed to get up and do something. just when i was about to get up i got a text. it was from josh. great.

i looked at the message and turned off my phone. i groaned and got up out of bed. i went to the bathroom and washed my face. i had to do something today. but what? my phone buzzed meaning i got another message. if it was josh i was going to go crazy. it was an unknown number.

i cant explain the nerves that overcame my body. my stomach was fluttering with butterflies. i knew he would be here soon and i haven't even showered. i jumped off the bed and went straight to take a shower. i got in and the water touching my skin put me at ease.
i didn't hear the door to my bedroom open. i turned off the water and grabbed my towel. i wrapped the towel around my body and walked out of the bathroom. my heart stopped and a gasp escaped my mouth. my towel dropped. ace was on my bed. he looked up and his eyes got big. he quickly looked back at his phone.
i grabbed my towel super fast and but it back on. he then looked back up at me. i gave him an awkward smile and went to my dresser to grab some clothes. i changed in the bathroom and washed my face. as i opened the door he was on the other side looking like he was about to knock.
"um... sorry i just have to use the bathroom" he said in an awkward tone.
"oh yeah my bad. here ya go" i said opening the door. he walked in and i walked out closing the door behind me. what a great way to start off this afternoon.
