I was walking back home when someone spoke up from behind. I look back to see who it was. It was Ma Jiaqi. "What are you doing here?"I asked with a flat tone. "I'm here to walk back with you".
"Excuse me, I ain't a child who can't walk alone" I scoffed. "But still I'm here to walk you home" He replied with a smile plastering on his face.
"You are being weird jiaqi" I told him and fasten my pace
The whole way back to home was silent. None of us dare to talk. I mean why should I talk to him. He's not my brother nor my friend.
"There is my house. Now you don't need to follow me again" I said pointing at my house who's 5/6 step away from us. I didn't want him to follow me till there because I don't want my parents to seem and besides i was feeling uncomfortable around him. Not in a creepy way, it's just that after that incident happened between me and Chengxin.We stop talking to each other till now and him walking me home sounds weird.
"Okay, So I'm heading back to my home" He said while waving his hands adding "Good night" I simply nod because I don't really know what to reply.
When I entered my house my mom and dad was sitting on the sofa in the living room watching some study programme on TV.
"Why are you late?" My dad asked while his eyes were fixed on the programme. But I can tell from his voice that he was angry. "I got detention because I don't know how to solve the maths equation.
"Aren't you ashamed of yourself, being the daughter of Maths teacher and not knowing how to slove a simple equation" He shouted getting up from the couch passing beside me going to his room.
"I'm sorry, it won't happen again" I said and went to my room throwing myself into the bed when I got a notification"
