As soon as Jiaqi left, Esther ran to her room and flopped down on the bed shouting in the pillow!! Her face was red like tomato because of embarassment

"Why is your heart beating so fast ??" He asked " Do you kind of like me or not ?" He teased as I slapped his shoulders jokingly " in your dreams" I denied

"Why was he behaving like that?" She thought to herself as she couldn't forget what just happened now and she couldn't stop blushing.

On ther other side Jiaqi was smiling on his bed remembering her flustered face when he asked her if she like him?

The night passed and it was weekend. Esther decided to have a stroll around her neighbour as she haven't in a long time...

As she walked down the path, she could feel the cold air hitting on her face. As she keep walking she could hear a voice calling from behind

"Esther~" A voice that she never want to listen to again. She pretended not to hear and fasten her pace when the someone behind from her hold her wrist to make her stop  from running

"Let go of me" she spoke in a cold tone not having an eye contact with him. "Just listen to me first! I'm not going to hurt" he said while his hands were on her shoulder making her look at him

"Fine!! what do you want to talk about?" She said sternly "I missed you" he said that made her look at him "oh please stop with your tricks" she said while rolling her eyes "Do I look like a fool to you??"

"I'm serious" he said rising his tone a bit "So I am" she shouted back "and if you don't have anything to talk about then I shall take my leave" she was about to turn away but Chengxin grabbed her hands making her stopped again..

"Seriously!!? What is your problem?? Let me go!! I have a lot of better things to do rather than wasting time talking to you" she screamed not loud enough, trying to remove his grip from her hands

"Esther!! I'm serious. I missed you" she scoffed.. "I still like you! Can we start over again?" He asked hoping her to accept it but no "Not even in your wildest dream DING CHENGXIN" She said the words one by one..

"Is it because of Jiaqi? Do you like him" he asked again making her caught off-guard. She was freeze for a few seconds before replying "No I don't like him" she lied "and  if I like him or not. It's non of your business and I like someone else and also don't interfere in someone else life. You have hurt me enough DING CHENGXIN and i don't want to repe at the same mistakes again and again"

Jiaqi who was watching them from afar feel heartbroken as the girl she liked doesn't feel the same about him and like someone else!! He didn't mean to eavesdrop on their conversation but it made him curious on what they were talking about when he saw them on his way to the supermarket

Back to the scene, Chengxin was taken aback. He had never seen this side of her, she was angry and he could feel the hatred towards him from her tone.. He finally realised that they can be never together again as he have hurt her enough in the past accidentally not intentional as no one knew the reason why he cheated on her except for that one person.

Without saying anything Chengxin left the place leaving her alone, she was confused on the sudden change of his behaviour, he was so agressive before but after her word he felt heartbroken.. she thought to herself if her word were harsh.
