Arthur strolled out of the directors office with a confused look on his face. He was just promoted from student to teacher? On his first day? Arthur chuckled to himself what was wrong with him didn't he want to keep a low profile? Well it was certainly too late for that.
Well he knew it was inevitable anyway so it didn't matter anymore. He didn't care what people thought of him, well besides his family. . . and the twin horns. . . and Elijah. . . and most definitely Tess apparently since he couldn't get her out of his head when she got mad at him.
Well anyone but that he didn't care what they thought about him. But it was certainly more than his last life. It was a weird feeling...
Caring.
"What do you think Sylvie? You think I would do a good job at teaching?"
"I don't care I'm sleeping"
Arthur sighed he should have known he wasn't going to get anything insightful from his pet dragon.
He continued to walk down the hallway in his own thoughts until he saw the silver hair flash in his peripheral vision.
Without realizing it every thought of meeting up with Elijah for lunch was blocked out of his head.
He saw her exiting the building and heading to the back of the school near the public training area. He wouldn't have guessed she was going to train even during lunch time that wasn't her. . . No she was the person to squeeze out of training, not find time for extra, she had something else on her agenda.
A suddenly very curious Arthur followed silently behind his childhood friend without leaving a sound.
She walked past the training area just as he suspected but what was her goal? He continued to follow her until she met a sudden stop underneath a tree far away from the school grounds. She sat down under the shade the tree provided on the sunny day.
He could only smile a little bit. 'I guess everyone needs breaks, even her'
He disengaged the magic that hid his presence and sat down next to her without a word.
A look of shock covered her face as she saw the brown haired boy sit next to her. "Art?"
"So I guess even the Lunar Goddess needs breaks?" Arthur teased
Tess shoved him playfully forgetting needing a reason why he was there. "Don't you dare call me that" She pouted
"And why is that? I think it's a pretty good nickname" Arthur argued
"T- E- S- S, tess dammit" She sighed with an obvious smile still on her face "You're the only one besides my family I would even think to let call me Tess so enjoy the privilege"
Arthur Chuckled 'She really hasn't changed much'
"I know a few people that would think calling you Tess is a sin," Arthur said, recalling his friend's insane viewpoint to the princess.
"Is it the same people that told you of that ridiculous nickname?" Tess asked
Arthur smirked "I know a few people"
"Uhhg geez I don't even understand 'Lunar Goddess' really? It doesn't fit at all and its putting me at a way higher standard that I really am"
Arthur strung his fingers through her silver hair. "I think it fits. . . Just a little bit"
Tess blushed slightly and found herself more fond of the name in a moment's notice. She looked over at Arthur; he never removed his fingers from her locks of hair still playing with the long silver locks.
