He did all that for her.

The boy who took nothing but his training seriously did all of that for her.

A boy who would get into a tug of war with his pet over a piece of meat.

A distant dream she thought wasn't possible was unfolding in front of her. The boy who lived the first part of her life with her wanted to adventure into the next with her.

She couldn't guess where this motivation came from, was it the Kiss? Or did he always feel this way about her?

She really did fall in love with one person and one person alone.

He could be so carefree, easy going, and light -hearted... Until he wanted something he would go to any length to achieve what he desires.

And in this moment Tess smiled because she was now a part of one of those wants. She didn't know what the future held.

She didn't know if it was a smooth sale or a bumpy ride...

But at this moment she couldn't think about dreaming through a pointless night.

Arthur finished telling his story a few moments ago. He looked up into the night sky with a soft smile on his face.

"Hey Art?" Tess asked, getting his attention.

"I believe you still owe me a date you know"

Arthurs mind jumped to their last night together under the stars. He remembered clearly it was their first time talking to each other in a few years.

Well there was a time before that where she yelled at him but that didn't count.

It was their first happy memory since they saw each other again...

and Arthur would hold it to himself as the day he fell in love with the elven princess.

He also did make a promise that day too. He told Tess he would take her out so they can talk about what they went through in their years apart.

"Do you mean right now?" Arthur asked, pointing up to the pitch black sky.

It was late... way too late to go on a formal date.

But Tess didn't care, she didn't want this night to end yet.

Tess looked down at the ground and tapped her foot back and forth with a soft blush that covered her cheeks. "I- I yes" Tess gave up on what she was trying to say and blurted it out.

'Our first date huh?' Arthur thought to himself.

While it was late it seemed neither of them really had any plans of sleeping.

After a few moments of pondering Arthur knew what he wanted to do. It just involved one annoying factor.

Waking a certain dragon up.

Arthur reached out and gave Tess a soft head pat, "Okay let's go on a date" Arthur looked into her eyes under moonlight from above.

At that moment he was sure that this was the decision he wanted.

Maybe even needed.

Tess could only smile on how surreal this all felt. As if she really was asleep right now and she was just praying she wasn't going to wake up.

"Where are we going?" Tess questioned

Arthur grabbed her hand and brought her to his side. Tess blushed at feeling his hand in hers when she noticed he pointed up.

"We are going to the sky," Arthur said.

Tess looked at him confused but Arthur was already working on the hard part of this date.
