Have you ever wanted something so bad it changed your mindset completely?

It could be anything. . . an item that has been on your mind for a while. . . a goal you set out to reach. . . a dream full of your highest ambitions. . .

A love that you thought was hopeless?

What happens when you get what you want?

Tessia Eralith currently found that out. Something she wanted was currently unfolding in front of her.

Arthur was someone who has been a part of pretty much her entire life. Tess couldn't really remember anything about her life before she meant Arthur.

She just knew how much better it got.

So it just felt so surreal.

To look at the boy who she thought might have never talked to her again with his eyes showing how much he cared.

That he was in this moment with her.

It fell silent after Arthur said he somehow convinced Tess's parents that she could be with a human.

Tess couldn't muster any words knowing this was just a dream.

Nothing this amazing could happen to her.

She looked back at Arthur to see him looking into the star filled sky. He had just a small grin on his face.

A grin that showed just enough to let Tess run with it.

Even if it was a dream, even if she truly never did get out of her bed and this was just her mind playing games with her.

Even if it was for a moment she was going to see what it was like.

"Hey Art"

Arthur looked to her and she noticed how his eyes glowed softly under the moonlight.

"Hmm?"

"What just happened?" Tess asked. She wanted to hear it again.

Arthur took a step closer looking into her silver eyes. She only just noticed he was slightly taller than her now.

"Do you want me to spell it out for you?" Arthur asked.

Tess could only give a small nod with a blush that can be see through the nighttime darkness.

"I believe you just agreed to be my girlfriend"

Their faces were only inches away from each other, with their eyes entrapped in the others.

"A- and the other thing?" Tess questioned.

"Where do you think I have been for the last few days?"

Tess looked at him surprised. "You left?"

Arthur smirked. "I wish my girlfriend at least cared about my whereabouts" He stepped back and turned around walking away shrugging his shoulders.

"It was kind of annoying really, they were in town but left right before I could ask them something very important"

Arthur sighed

"Of course your grandfather stayed back to give you treatment so having the conversation with him first was just delightful"

"Y- you really talked to them?" Tess questioned "Why did you go that far for me? I would have still said... Y- yes if you didn't do that"

Arthur still didn't look back "I know" Arthur took a deep breath taking in the cold air around him. "When I realized how I felt for you it was weird I never thought about relationships like that before"
