Let's see where we left off... ah, yes.

Klay almost died breathless when he saw Angeline. Look, Klay had seen many women, his profession and sudden speech had brought various
experiences to the boy.

But he was as bizarre as any woman, any woman (think of the most beautiful woman in the world), thought? So she was dull, because she was not Angel.

This was kind of melancholy, but there was no other way to explain how Klay was feeling.

-So... where are we going? -Angel asks, bringing the boy out of his little world.

-Where do you want to go?

-You've lived here the longest. -She laughs a little. -Give me a suggestion.

-I have a place. Let's go? -Klay stretches out his hand to her on impulse, not knowing that she would hold it.

The skin touching and the heat being transmitted made Thompson smile.

The boy took the girl to a restaurant he had been to a few times with his friends,
He knew that there wouldn't be people there taking pictures or bothering them.

-It's beautiful here. -Angel looked around.

-You're right, it's quiet here, that makes it even more beautiful.

-Have you been here much before?

-Angel asks as he sips some wine.

-Sometimes, I usually come with the guys from the team.

-That reminds me, congratulations on your NBA draft. You deserve it.

-Thank you. -Klay cracks a big smile at that comment. -I'm glad to have you back
back.

-I'm glad to be back.

-What brought you back?

-I passed college here, and well, since it was a city I already knew, here I am.

-I should thank the college then.

-For what?

-For bringing you back.

Talking about butterflies in the stomach has become very common to be said here, I know. But there is no other thing so perfect to describe the two of them at this moment.

This may have been a flirtation, without having been intended, but it was. Klay couldn't deny that was happy to see Angeline back. Because well, when you let someone go, they don't usually doesn't come back, right?

Klay wasn't expecting her back, after so long he had kind of got used to it. But when he saw Angel, and then he was sure it was her, everything changed. It was It was as if she had never left. It was as if they had never stopped loving each other.

                                   ~

Angel couldn't ask for a ... What other word replaces date? Angel couldn't
ask for a friendly outing with Klay any better. It was incredibly bizarre how they were still the same, and Angel liked that.

After much reluctance (on the girl's part) and much insistence (on Klay's part), the boy took her away. Thompson was a gentleman, he would never let her go away at night alone.

Parked on the campus, inside the car, the two were silent. But it was not an
awkward silence, the two of them didn't want to assume that they didn't want to say goodbye.

It was silly, after all they were going to see each other again, talk on the internet, it was not goodbye, not again. It wasn't goodbye, not again.

-I have to go. -Beuafort finally broke the silence.

-Oh, okay. -Klay takes off his belt and opens the door.

-What are you doing? -Angel asks with a doubtful face.

-I'm opening the door for you. -Klay answers as if it were obvious.

He gets out and goes towards Angel's door, opening it and smiling at the girl, who rolls her eyes and laughs.

-Thank you. Not only for this, but for everything, it was really nice hanging out with you.

-Thank you, I needed the time, the games are killing me.

-I can imagine. Well, I'm off.

The two of them stared at each other for a few minutes, they knew what they wanted, but this wasn't going to happen. Not for now, it would be rushed and no one wanted to spoil it.

-Bye Angel. -Klay smiled at the girl.

-Bye, Klay. -The girl smiled back and went on her way.

-

Klay left the girl at the college with a smile on her face, and Angel too. The girl
came into the room smiling, which obviously caught Milena's attention.

-You can start telling.
-What? -Angel laughs as if she doesn't understand what Milena is talking about.

-Don't make out. -Milena laughs. -How was it?

-It was good. -Angel throws herself on the bed next to the girl.

-I want details, go ahead, tell me.

-There's nothing to tell. -Angel laughs. -We went out to dinner, and talked. No big deal.

-Did you kiss? -Milena asks with the greatest hope in the world.

-No.

-Why?????

-Maybe because it was our first date, I don't want to rush things. And we went out only once.

-I'm sure he wanted to kiss you.

Angel laughs.

-I'm sure he didn't.

-

-Look steph, I'm telling you. I almost kissed her, I almost didn't. -Klay was talking to his best friend while walking around the house.

-Why didn't you? -Curry asks as if it were obvious.

-I didn't want to rush things.

-Hm. -Steph is silent for a while. -Call her out again.

-I'll do that.

-Why don't you ask her to the 4th of July party? The rest of the team is coming, and she can bring her friends friends if she wants.

-That's a great idea steph, thanks man, love you.

-I love you too, now go get some rest, there's practice tomorrow.

-I will. -Klay laughs weakly. -Good night Curry.

-Good night Thompson.
