12. acting work

 Klay would even tell the details of the party if he could remember. The only thing he could say was that he woke up lying on the couch in his house, with his friends and his girlfriend asleep on the floor.

There were a few glasses on the table. Thompson only wondered at what point they went home. The hangover headache was one of the worst pains he had ever felt, he was sure of it. Even more so since James had left a voice call and said that the recording of the advertisement would be today. He wanted to die.

He managed to get up, somehow, without making any noise, heading towards the bathroom to wash his face.

"Great face to shoot a commercial in Klay," he thought.

He poured cold water on his face to see if it worked, and went to make coffee, since he needed to leave in less than an hour.

In the time that Klay was making coffee, and showering, his friends were not awake yet. Klay thought it was silly to wake them up, so she left them sleeping, and wrote a message to Angel.

"Hey love, yeah, you guys were in deep sleep and I had to leave to record something, I'll tell you more details later. There's food in the fridge, love you!!!"

The recording location was outdoors, near the bay. James was walking back and forth until he saw Klay and ran towards him

-Thank God you are here. -James takes a light breath.

-Are you late? -Klay asks, confused.

-Not really, we were just afraid it was going to rain.

-Ah.

-Moon! -James shouted. -Come and fix his appearance.

Give him a makeover? Klay was beautiful.

The boy just ignored the comment and went to the place with a sign that read "Dressing Room". People with cameras and filming equipment were running around the four corners of the place, bustling about.

Thompson sat in the chair in front of the mirror and waited for Lua to arrive with her makeup bag.

 He began by rubbing concealer under the boy's eyes, which irritated him, but it was necessary.

-What did you do to get such dark circles? -Moon asked in a funny way.

-I'm hungover.

-Klay Thompson drinking the day before a job? How ugly. -A voice entered the conversation. Not just any voice.

-Laura?

Laura, a famous actress and friend of Klay. Technically she was friends, like, they had been a few (many) times, but that was it. They ended their thing in peace and now they were friends, all right.
